This is an air-conditioned third floor 625 sq.ft. addition to a 1925 duplex. It was built in 2000, has windows on all sides, and no walls except the bathroom. The property is totally fenced, and includes lovely gardens and a front patio, and is located in a quiet neighborhood very near Macalester College in St. Paul. I think it has everything guests would want except a full kitchen. Fortunately, there are many good restaurants and grocery stores, nearby, especially on Grand Avenue.

The apartment was well-located for me: walkable to downtown but quiet and residential. I wasn't sure if it was safe after dark but walked anyway and there were no problems. Mariana was kind and pleasant, even gave me thermoses of excellent coffee in the morning! I was able to park for the entire visit on the street in front of her place -- no restrictions on her side of the street. The room was very nice--cozy and homey and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There's no AC but the nights were cool when I was there so no problem--my room had 2 windows so there was plenty of fresh air. Overall, I enjoyed staying there.

We always enjoy a quaint stay in a neighborhood vs the hotel scene. Ethel and John's place worked perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of street parking available and easy access to the downstairs apartment. We were greeted upon arrival and felt very welcome in their home. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.

Anupma and her family were so welcoming, she treated me as one of her own. I travel for a living so it meant a lot to have a sit down family dinner :) and her cooking is amazing! Her directions for check in are very easy to understand and navigate, and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you, Anupma and Paras, for giving me a home for the night! 💚

I couldnt have asked for a better stay in mpls. Heidi was impressively proactive, warm, kind, welcoming, and a fantastic host. Location is about 10 mins walking to the blue line, there are bunnies and birds in the yard, and i always had something to snack on in the kitchen. The house is impeccably decorated, with amenities as if i was at my own home or visiting my mom. Please book this gem, you'll be disappointed if you don't!!

When they say luxury, they mean LUXURY! This place is amazing. Fresh cut flowers, a bottle of wine (good wine) and scones!! Just for a start. Everything is better than advertised. I will be visiting regularly!!
