This trip to Jay & Joy's home was for pleasure. Relaxing out back on the patio enjoying the magnificent view of the water. This hime just feels like home when you there. My wife and I really enjoy the peace and quite of the location. We will be booking this house again on our next visit to Bakersfield. Thank you for giving us a peaceful enchanting place to sit and talk to our family.

The house was nice and the beds were comfortable, but the backyard was like a little paradise. There are fruit trees, a swimming pool, and a nice covered patio area. We had several meals at the table outside and even though it was warm, there was always a nice breeze. We all really enjoyed the swimming pool and there were a couple of inflatables available for use as well, which was a nice touch. Martha was quick to respond to any questions I had.

This is the second time staying at Fay & Lucas place. This home is not only spotless, immaculately decorated, but every detail is thought of for the guests comfort. Being a previous super host, we have become accustomed to recognizing those hosts that are superior. Fay & Lucas are definitely one of these hosts!! Highly recommend renting from them and we will definitely return again!!

The house and area were perfect for our family. The host Jonathan was always helpful and responded very quickly for anything we needed. The pool was awesome too, our kids had a great time! Would definitely stay again in the future!

Brian made himself available to our group, he quickly responded to my questions and even answered the phone when I had a question. Was probably one of the hottest days this year for Bakersfield. My group utilized the pool sooooo refreshing. The home was very clean and plenty of room for all. If you’re taking the time to read this comment and are still undecided… I 100% recommend not wasting your time and just book this property. In my opinion best deal you’ll find. Looking forward to rebooking for my group next year.

We spent a few days here to be close to Edwards AFB. The home is very spacious and was nicely decorated. The view was magnificent. It is close enough to town to pick up anything needed in a short amt of time. Anthony was very helpful and responded quickly when I reached out to him. We really enjoyed our time in California City.

Host was very accommodating, I scheduled so last minute and they responded within minutes! I had to change our check out date TWICE, & thankfully they where very understanding & didn’t hesitate to extend our stay! Had a great time felt right at home, very comfortable, will recommend to family and friends

This place was amazing!! My team of drone pilots are in Tehachapi performing wildfire mitigation inspections on utility poles. This home was a perfect spot for us to come home and rest of the end of the day. Gus was extremely helpful and responsive from check-in to allowing a late checkout. We stayed here while in town for a tournament, and it was perfect for our group. The house was clean, updated, and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It had everything we needed and more—especially for families with kids. The space was great for entertaining, and they truly thought of everything, even down to supplies for infants and toddlers. It made our stay super comfortable and easy. Great experience and a great stay—highly recommend!
