Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tyne and Wear

We booked our stay for a 30th birthday weekend with family, the house is stunning and has everything you need and more. Perfect for a celebration. The stay was perfect from start to finish, the only downside we would say was the 10am check out, which we feel is a bit too early especially when check in isn’t until 4pm - When asked for a later check out there was a charge even though there was nobody else due to stay that day. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would recommend Kimberley and her lovely home. Thank you for having us.

Had a great stay at Tom’s place, after a 5 hour drive we approached Durham and received a message letting us know the property was all ready and waiting for us which was a real bonus. We were really impressed by how spacious the bedrooms were, and the shower and bath were amazing too. Kitchen was well stocked for us to enjoy a drink before heading out into Newcastle for the day. Excellent stay at the house as we homed with my family for a weekend. The location is easy to access and quiet at the riverside just opposite to the Quayside over the Tyne Bridge. Lovely service in the house during my stay.

Great stay for a family wedding at Tyne Bank Brewery. Lottie was very communicative and flexible with arrival and departure times which was appreciated when flight times were changed.

Perfect location for a 10 minute walk to the Riverside stadium and similar into town where there are plenty of food choices. Thr property had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Gareth responded very quickly to queries and made some useful recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely place and great host, would 100% recommend!

I stayed here with my son (age 12) on holiday and it was the perfect location for us. We were on foot and it's an easy walk into the centre of Newcastle. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, and generally pleasant neighbourhood. If we had brought our car, I could see that we could have parked easily. Beds were extremely comfortable and the place was roomy and relaxing. There is a great kitchen and eating area, with modern appliances. There are two bathrooms and the upstairs one has a particularly nice shower! The living room was the perfect place to chill out in the evening. The hosts were highly responsive when I had questions. I would gladly stay they again. Thanks!

Lovely accommodation and great host. We very much appreciated the spacious house plus the animals on the farm and local wildlife. Caroline was was very welcoming and offered useful suggestions for things to do and ways to get about.

The apartment was perfect in size and location for the things we wanted to see in and around South Shields. The coastline is beautiful, walk to Marsden Grotto along the coast took about 1 1/2 hrs with amazing birdlife (bus back) Foot ferry over to North Shields, bus and Metro ticket good, St Mary’s Lighthouse a must , check tide times. Tyne Mouth a special place with Priory and spectacular views .Roman Fort next to the Apartment a hidden gem and free. Sadly some of South Shields needs a Spruce up like so many places on our Coastline. Elaine is a lovely host.

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic weekend stay in Newcastle! Christian was so friendly & accommodating for our stay, the apartment was stunning with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt luxurious, including the robes & fancy coffee machine. Being walking distance from st James park and city centre shops & restaurants was so handy. It was perfect for our weekend as wedding guests and exploring the city, only a quick taxi from the Airport as we flew in from Bristol as well which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here over a budget hotel as it had all the little extra home comforts, if I’m ever in Newcastle again I will be returning to this lovely apartment. Linda's apartment was just perfect for our stay. Absolutely spotless, everything you could possibly want was available. Great location, 5 minute walk to the Metro then just 3 stops into the city centre or a little bit longer to the coast. Linda was lovely, very welcoming with great communication. Absolutely 5*. Neat, clean and spacious apartment. Excellent provisions for children (would note there are split level stairs if your child is mobile) and felt very welcomed.

The property was delightful with lots of interesting details. Very comfortable and in a fabulous location.

A lovely apartment walkable from the town centre and overlooking the local cricket pitch. Clean and spacious with everything you could need nearby. The flat itself was lovely and quiet and check in was very easy. Robyn gave clear instructions & made sure we had what we needed. Within walking distance is the main high street so the lots of restaurants, bars and pubs. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others great value for money.
