Cottage holiday rentals in Ubud

thankful for the host's hospitality and kindness. 🙏🏻 the place was as described and we had a comfortable stay. the property was in a quiet neighborhood and there were lots of plants and trees around. lots of warung around and there's a restaurant (Kalamansi) nearby as well. we didn't get to use the kitchen since we dined out a lot but drinking water was provided. the semi-outdoor bath was nice but expect that there will be bugs especially at night, so keep all doors closed. the place was big enough already for me and my partner as it had a "mini" living room. we got to work but the wifi fluctuates every now and then. overall, a good find! we didn't get to explore Sanur but we did visit the nearby Bali Zoo and we also managed to go snorkling in the Blue Lagoon and a quick side trip to Bias Tugel beach! thanks again for being part of our experience. 💖

Wij waren wat eerder bij de accomodatie dan de inchecktijd, maar we konden gelukkig onze spullen kwijt en gebruik maken van de faciliteiten. Het is een prachtige plek, als je aan het zwembad zit heb je uitzicht op de zee. Ook de menukaart is goed bij de air b&b zelf. We waren beide dol op de chicken curry! Het personeel is onwijs vriendelijk, en bij het uitchecken kregen we tips mee (wij waren op rondreis) Echt een aanrader! Wij zouden zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Шикарное жилье. Самое лучшее, которое мы могли найти на Бали. Две отдельные комнаты на втором этаже, очень хорошая шумоизоляция. Вилла в отличном состоянии. Бассейн и территория возле него очень расслабляющие Уборка была раз в 3 дня, убирались хорошо, меняли постельное белье раз в неделю Но отдельное спасибо хочу сказать Херману, менеджеру виллы. Он делал абсолютно все для нашего комфорта. В первый день на вилле не очень хорошо работал кондиционер, он сразу поставил новый. Абсолютно все, что было не так, Херман исправлял сразу и был максимально отзывчивым А ключевое - его человеческие качества. С ним очень весело и он очень хорошо шутит В следующий раз мы хотим вернуться именно в эту виллу, потому что наше пребывание было крайне отличным! Всем рекомендую *на вилле мы жили месяц

We loved our stay in Bali! The outdoor living area and pool were wonderful, the staff was very hospitable with amazing food and service, and it was just a quick walk to the beach to watch the surfers.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt hier für 1 Monat. Der Check-in mitten in der Nacht war kein Problem und die Gastgeber haben uns super nett empfangen. Die Küche ist auch toll und falls was fehlt wurde es sofort besorgt von den Gastgebern. Nur die Hühner direkt nebenan waren einwenig störend in den frühen Morgenstunden sowie zum arbeiten aber ansonsten haben wir einen wundervollen Aufenthalt gehabt.

Ons verblijf was heel erg fijn mede doordat het een ruime accomodatie is met een leuk zwembad. De kamers waren heel schoon en opgeruimd. Het personeel is heel fijn en reageerd snel op vragen of verzoeken. Wij hebben 2 kleine kinderen dus waren ook heel blij dat ze een hekje om het zwembad konden plaatsen! De accomodatie ligt dicht bij het strand en op loopafstand van veel restaurants en winkeltjes. Zouden dit zeker aanraden bij een bezoek aan Sanur.

We hebben het zó geweldig gehad met onze familie! Je voelt je meteen thuis door de gezellige inrichting. Het uitzicht over de rijstvelden is zo mooi! De slaapkamers zijn prima. Wij hadden weinig last van het verkeer. We hebben een paar keer massages laten doen, Awan regelde dat. Dat verliep allemaal prima. Dagelijks maakte Awan een prima ontbijt naar keuze. We vonden het allemaal goed. Awan spreekt genoeg Engels voor de noodzakelijke communicatie. De supermarkt aan de overkant is erg handig, het simpele restaurant op 20 meter ook. Via Grab hebben we ook regelmatig eten besteld. Het was voor een paar van ons een eerste kennismaking met Azië. Door de villa is die eerste indruk geweldig goed!!! Dank je wel Olive voor het ter beschikking stellen van deze unieke plek!

Our stay here was highlighted not with the amazing villa, not the complete selection of ammenities, not even the amazing location right next to Kuta Beach, but by Majeed's amazing friendliness as well as responsiveness. Would love to stay here again one day.

The staff was very helpful and kind especially angga🙏🏼. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean. Pool was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. Restaurant opposite had good food as well 🥰

Très bon séjour dans cette Villa. Un dépaysement total et convivial pour une belle arrivée sur l'île de Bali. Doni, Claudia et tout le personnel sont très gentils et donnent plein de bons conseils et de bonnes adresses. Environnement plus que parfait avec la piscine et le coin détente, jungle et petites villas. Au plaisir de se revoir, merci 🙏

We had a fabulous holiday in Ubud made extra special by our stay here - as a family of 7 the property allowed plenty of privacy and peace….ams a communal area when we wanted to be together. Staff were super friendly and helpful and Ross was responsive. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back.

4 bedrooms all with attached baths. ideal way to yravel.Zen like tranquility in nature setting. large house .pristine pool. property manager is very responsive. 15 min from center of ubud.

Mijn Bali vakantie eindigde ik met 4 nachtjes slapen bij Jane. Zij en haar huishoudster Made zijn bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam. Van leuke tips, tot wassevice en late check out. En Jane regelde ook een fijne chauffeur. De villa heeft veel persoonlijke details en een geweldig fijn zwembad (inclusief schidpad :) Ik vond Saba Beach prettig omdat het er wat minder druk is. Locale bewoners die op het strand voetballen en vliegeren, wat leuk is om mee te maken. Het bezoek aan de naastgelegen schilpadden opvang was één van mijn mooiste eiland ervaringen. Flamingo Beach club is vlakbij en fijn voor een drankje met prachtig uitzicht. Neem oordopjes mee, dat is prettig voor de nacht, soms is er wat meer geluid van het feest bij de buren. Ik zou zo weer bij Jane verblijven.

What a delightful experience. From the minute we booked, until the moment we checked out, we were taken care of as 5⭐️ accommodations always do. The house is stunning and beautiful. Exactly as described. We loved the open air traditional living and equally were grateful for the air conditioning at night. If you prefer no nature, this is not your place. If you love nature, you will find no better. Made came every evening we were home and made us traditional Balinese food. It was amazing and the best we experienced while on Bali. We are so grateful for her. She also provided excellent laundry service, arranged for massage and a pedicure for my husband. (Just want to mention Komang & Kedak twin sisters gave the best massage in Bali). Kedak, the manager, kept us arranged with drivers and fresh water. We are so grateful for our experience in the “jungle” and rice fields. We stayed two weeks and loved every minute.

Thank you again Caroline, Kutut, Wayang and Nyoman. Your house is magnificent and the support and care wonderful. I had my own complications but none of you were phased and all very helpful. For anyone that is interested in staying here I would highly recommend it for people that would like a genuine, elegant and private experience and who likes animals too. I stayed in the studio last year and found that perfect also. This year my parents joined me for part of the stay as we stayed in the house which has plenty of air, space, light and room. It is set in gardens that are natural and well kept and there are beautiful views of rice fields right in front of you. You can spoil yourself in the open expansive bathroom. It also feels like a home as it has a warm and generous vibe. I did work here and the wifi was great. So if you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle and do your own thing it is perfect. If you want a quality, serene and natural stay and like being close to the environment and animals then don't hesitate on this one I think it is rare.

Très joli logement dans un environnement calme et proche de tout à pieds. La jolie salle de bain extérieure et la piscine privée sont de vrais plus . Deux petits bémoles pas d'eau chaude dans la douche et la porte du logement, malgré qu'on la ferme à clé, on pouvait l'ouvrir quand même juste en poussant dessus. Malgré cela nous avons passé un excellent séjour et les personnes qui nous ont accueilli ont été adorables !

My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Suji Jago Villa. The location was fantastic - short walk to so many different restaurants, activities. Mini supermarket was right next door. The Villa itself was beautiful. Nice big rooms, and the pool was a hit with the kids. Everything was cleaned and maintained so well. The housekeeper, Wayan, was so friendly and very responsive! We really appreciated all the thoughtful small touches - there were power boards in every bedroom, a well stocked kitchen (cutting boards, containers as well as kids cups, cutlery and plates!). Our holiday to Bali was the most amazing trip - and a large part of that is definitely because we stayed here!

Loved this stay. If you want something peaceful and relaxing than look no further. place was clean, pool was good and some of the activities you can do through the hotel are great. The location is a little out the way but the hotel offers a range of ways to get around if need be. All in all it was a lovely stay.

If your looking for a villa with a truly amazing host family this is it. They are always kind and Wayan will respond to any issues that may arise. The place looks like paradise, and I will definitely come back. Don't forget about Manis, if your looking for sweet company, Manis the cat is waiting for you.

Great place to stay. The staff is very prompt & very hospitable. The property is near local neighborhoods, so if you don’t mind dogs barking at night this is the place for you. Overall, I would totally recommend this property!

This is a very cool space - the whole house (except bedrooms) is an open air concept that makes for a lovely and relaxing vibe. Beautiful garden overlooking river. They have lots of fans to keep you cool, and the bedrooms have air conditioning. We were only there one night, but had dinner, breakfast, and lunch in house and it was super good! Also very highly recommend the massage - outdoors by the river is fabulous, and the ladies who did the massages were fantastic (I had Ayu - so great!). As one of the other reviews mentioned, it’s not quite as isolated/private as some other places (the owners live next door, and the neighbors are building a property on opposite side) - but we did not feel crowded at all and we would definitely recommend this place as well as hope to return sometime soon! The staff was great and we really appreciated their cooking and help arranging transport. Mahalo!
