The A9 motorway is easily accessible, so you can quickly reach Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem or Schiphol Airport. The beach of Castricum can also be reached within 15 minutes.

Our beautiful houseboat is only 12 min from Amsterdam centre by train & 5 min from the famous Zaanse Schans windmills! Use our boat to visit the local mills in the nature area, relax in the large sunny garden or on our spacious terrace boat! It's the ideal location to enjoy a relaxed holiday and also be close to all the famous attractions! COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

This unique accommodation has its own style. It is an old beach house that has become a beautiful contemporary cottage, with fantastic views over the meadows. From your bed, you can look through the French doors to the meadows and enjoy the morning sun. At the front, you can see the "Stelling van Amsterdam" and over the meadows. From the terrace, you can enjoy the sunset. Really a beautiful place.

Charming vacation bungalow with lots of privacy. We like to share our very large garden (2400 m2) with bridges and jetty with our guests. The vacation home is located 25 minutes away by train from Amsterdam, close to the beach and Zaanse Schans, near the cheese city Alkmaar, close to Schiphol Airport. Your dog is also welcome, we charge 10 euros per night.
