Excellent room, the kitchen is super clean and easy to use. The people are friendly and have great recommendations for things to do in the neighborhood. The showers, the room, and the neighborhood are all clean and welcoming. would come back for sure

This place is just perfect for a trip away from Kyoto! The hostel is so tidy and clean and comfy. We received an immediate message upon booking to confirm our plans with check-in details. The staff were very sweet, helpful, and friendly and this was an excellent location in a quieter part of the city – across the river and away from the crowds and perfect to still get to be in Arashiyama. The hostel is walkable to the onsen and provides a couple for a discount for entry!

The room is near the MRT station and very easy to go anywhere. Also, the Japanese bar near the room is very delicious and stunning. It's called Ichiban.

Nice place to stay and easy to find it. I hope one day gonna stay in there.

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

The (unfortunately only very short) time with Yusuke and Mariko was very, very nice! We felt right at home, it smelled good and you can tell that they put a lot of energy and heart into the house. Yusuke also gave us many great tips for the area. The neighborhood is cozy and much more pleasant than the city center. Bicycles can also be rented, which is a lot of fun in Kyoto. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

Had a great stay here. Everything is clean and everything was as described. I will stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto. highly recommended!

good place located halfway between kyoto main station and main shopping area. I would certainly consider using it again.

For the first time alone, I chose a tour, for people who are not required to stay, this is definitely a very good choice. There are things in the hotel, there is also a small kitchen where you can cook, Kiyomizu Temple, Kamogawa, Shijo shopping street, etc. Only walking distance, I am very happy to stay, I will stay here again in Kyoto.Thank you for the hospitality of a few young ladies, English was good, communication was not a problem at all.

The bedroom, kitchen, shower, and toilet were all kept very clean.I was glad to have coffee and other things in the shared space.Indoor slippers and hair dryers are also provided.I definitely want to do it again.

Staff was great and the area is very peaceful, beautiful and yet close to many restaurants and cafes!

It was a late self check-in, but the instructions were easy to understand and I was able to enter the room smoothly.I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so I did not meet the staff, but there was nothing to worry about.I think it's thanks to the simple and accurate guidance and the easy-to-use facilities in the building.I felt that attention was paid to the details, and that it was a wonderful management. In many guesthouses where many people come and go, there are many facilities where shoes and personal belongings are scattered, but this one had a well-organized system. The system of changing into personal slippers also gave a sense of cleanliness and made a very good impression.In addition, there is a bakery in the neighborhood that opens early in the morning, so I had no trouble with breakfast and had a comfortable stay. I was here for a few nights and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was clean and neat with a beautiful interior. The staff was very friendly and they were always ready to help out. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place for all backpackers who are looking for some calm days in Kyoto

I think this hostel can be one of the top hostels in the world! Staffs are quite nice and friendly, room is very clean and comfortable, pls choose this hostel you won’t be disappointed!

Really friendly host and comfy bed. Maybe bring earplugs though cause the beds make sound if you're below someone stirring around it's hard to sleep.Also some rude people banging on the stairs and playing their videos out loud but that's not the Airbnb fault. I just was too shy to tell them to be quiet haha

I arrived 2 hours earlier than check-in time. The masseuse was just greeting another customer. I was so grateful that you kindly guided me in advance. The hot spring, a 6-minute walk away, is a great place to relax during your 5-night stay. I used it every day. The whole quiet village and most of the places I walked and walked, covering over 20,000 steps a day. The whole atmosphere of the house is During the day, quiet music flows as BGM The overall fragrance of the wood was good. During 4 nights in a good value accommodation There was nothing uncomfortable. However, at night, it feels a little cold. The air conditioning breeze was cool. Thanks to the kind host, Ms. Martha I had a very good experience. I plan to visit again in the fall.

Shared room w 5 others, expect some noise for people moving about while asleep. Some people may enter and exit and may interrupt sleep. That said, it is an excellent place for sleeping in and resting throughout the day since they have a quiet bottom floor where people work and do things. Fridge is there too for you to keep some food. There is a *** water*** dispenser so you don't have to purchase water.
