Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Umbilo

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Clare's property in Ballito. The home was stunning, impeccably clean, and perfectly situated. The home was away from the hustle and bustle of Central Ballito, but still only a 5 min drive to the beach. From the serene surroundings to the thoughtful touches throughout, every detail was taken care of. It provided the ideal setting for a quiet, peaceful getaway, and we left feeling completely refreshed. Clare was an excellent host, ensuring our stay was seamless. We can’t recommend this property enough and will certainly be back!

Firstly this place is absolutely gorgeous and huge . The hosts went above and beyond for us, I can never thank them enough. This is such a beautiful home and environment the pictures don’t do all the justice to this home. I’m absolutely inspired by this couple and their work on this space . My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Kristin’s gorgeous home. It was immaculate. The amenities kept the kids entertained the entire stay. Kristin was always accessible to us to provide guidance and support. The pictures do not do this place justice, an absolute dream. Thanks Kristin, we’ll be back!

A lovely garden cottage, only 5min drive from the beach. Very peaceful and extremely clean! Loved my stay and would highly recommend it for solo travellers and couples. Thank you Oscar.

Had an amazing stay and met our requirements perfectly. It was a beautiful house, with a lovely outside area and pool. Very peaceful yet in a good location for shops / restaurants etc and Braden was really responsive when we reached out to him. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful house to others and we will sure to book again when we are next in Durban. Only suggestion I would make is to leave some basics on arrival like bread / juice etc but overall we loved staying here

A Perfect Stay! My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the Housekeeper, Happiness and she made us feel right at home. This was truly a memorable experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the little touches made all the difference. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. This home had excellent accommodation for our large family gathering. The 8 bedrooms are spread across 3 floors - 3 top, 3 ground and 2 on the lower level, which is only accessible from outside (not ideal for children). The bedrooms are all large, each with a spacious and elegant en suite. The interior and exterior living spaces are extensive and well laid out, with plenty of lounge seating and dining tables. The top floor and ground floor both have large, furnished decks. The Zimbali estate offers access to fantastic facilities, including multiple pools spread across the estate and various sports activities. The beach is accessible, but is non-swimming at Zimbali. There are strict estate rules (eg entry gate, speeding, noise, etc), but none that affected the enjoyment of our stay. There were a few minor issues (eg not enough keys, communication), but not quite enough to lose a star. Overall, we had an awesome and enjoyable long weekend.

It was amazing the apartment was very clean and neat value for money everything you need is walking distance from the apartment. The infinity pool is awesome vusi is a great host will definitely recommend and can't wait too book again Thank you vusi much appreciated

We had a lovely stay over the festive season. Great location and all necessary amenities. The jacuzzi and outside area were a massive plus and lovely to be able to walk into the village and to the beach.

Great stay at Luke's apartment - really easy access across the road to the public beach for tidal pools and swimming. We didn't use the swimming pool but that seemed in good condition too. Large main bedroom with ample storage (and a fan we were very grateful for!), the second bedroom was also suitable for our needs (two adults) and had cupboard storage too. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, we did not find any basics like oil and salt/pepper which meant getting our own - though this wasn't a problem. We made use of the aircon in the living room, really great extra to have on humid days. We loved the outdoor area too, semi-private with people walking past every now and again for the pool or beach access. Overall would definitely stay again - thanks for the hospitality :)
