Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Umdloti Beach

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. The space was comfortable with homely amenities. The morning view of the ocean and the sunrise was special. We had dolphin sightings on both days that we stayed. We also spotted beautiful birds. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Bev - you have a special spot and your attention to detail made the cottage extra comfortable.

The penthouse is beautiful and comfortable. Robyn is such an amazing host - she’s friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely visit again.

But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. Despite a short stay, my family and I had a lovely stay. The apartment is bright, pristine and spacious. The location of the unit near the tennis court, pool, kids’ play area and easy driving distance to the beach made it all the more pleasant and enjoyable. The host’s attention to detail and very well equipped accommodation is commendable.

This is the most thoughtful host I have ever experienced. Do not go grocery shopping without checking in first… so many items were provided. I loved how close it is to a mall but is a full on farm barn experience. I am still intrigued by the place…

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Melissa was the BEST. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had! The place is absolutely beautiful and truly became the highlight of our vacation. The check-in process was smooth. It was comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend this place and I am definitely going back.

Wow, what an amazing house! Stunning with plenty of room and right on the beach. Everybody who went just loved the place and can't wait to go back. Isabel and Zanele were just wonderful and helpful in every way. We will definitely be making a booking there again. Thank you so much, Tessa. We could not have found a better place for our break.

Home is lovely and beautiful. The estate has many pools and restaurants and lots of areas for children to play and swim. Grant was a great host and would highly recommend Grant and this property! We can’t wait to come again .

We had a wonderful stay with family, including our 2 young kids. The view is incredible! The house is beautiful, nice and clean (Jenny the domestic worker helped keep it that too throughout our stay). A short (if somewhat steep) walk down the path to a lovely beach complete with rock pools and a small river that the kids really enjoyed. There is large braai and also a webber which was really handy for feeding a big family. We arrived early and Nadine was kind enough to allow us flexibility in the check in time which is always so appreciated. I hope we will be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. I highly recommend for families and couples who are looking to enjoy the beauty of Ballito and surroundings in a home away from home. Great location for a family. Private and quiet, yet an easy walk to beach and restaurants. Sandra the housekeeper was amazing!

I spent 1 night at the house and really had a great time, the place is nice and clean with nice sea views. Paula has been an amazing host, very responsive,I strongly recommend it and will definitely come back for a longer stay.

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.
