We are unaffected by load-shedding due to our newly installed solar-powered system. The Piet-My-Vrou holiday home is a 3 bedroom house with a large open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and box freezer. The living room opens up to a covered verandah with seating, tables and chairs. The garden is fenced with a shared swimming pool. The bedrooms have two three-quarter beds in each room. There is one full bathroom and one en-suite. AC's in every room.

Private patio with built in braai and outdoor furniture. Bathroom has a walk in shower and a corner bath. Fully equipped for self catering. Provisions for loadshedding such as emergency lights and a gas stove are fitted. Secure parking. There is a odd step or two throughout the home and outside areas.

Our stay here was truly wonderful. The Bridge is in a beautiful location, very central for St Lucia, right on the main road with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The listing felt very homey and the hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable in the area. Would recommend as a home base while visiting St Lucia.

The apartment is beautiful and really big. A big plus is in any case how well equipped the apartment is: in addition to a well-equipped kitchen, the parasol and air mattress for the pool were great for us. By the way, the pool is as great as it looks in the photos. We did not use the small room outside the apartment. Claire was also super friendly and quick to reach for questions:) I definitely recommend this place - in my opinion, value for money in St Lucia is also great!!

Turtle Bay Lodge was a great place for our large family gathering! Jan, Fiona and their staff were great & shared tips on local places, weather & trips. House had lots of common areas to spread out & relax & play games during the rain and a big kitchen to cook for our family.
