Bungalow holiday rentals in Unawatuna

Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Paradies! Es ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos hier. Der Pool ist wunderschön und man bekommt sehr leckeres Frühstück, wenn man es vorher ankündigt. Vom Bett aus kann man die Wellen hören und draußen auf einer Liege entspannen. Ruzaik ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer zur Stelle war und uns Unternehmungen empfohlen hat. Da wir ein einjähriges Kind dabei hatten und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer zum Ausruhen und wir bekamen direkt Wasser, Kekse und Früchte gebraucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten eines Wohngebietes am Fluss. Nebenan wird wohl demnächst ein Hotel gebaut, dort ist eine Baustelle. Der Garten ist besonders schön und von außen nicht einsehbar. Man konnte viele wilde Tiere beobachten und hat einen tollen Blick auf den Fluss. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war sauber. Indika war sehr gut erreichbar und auch der Hausmeister stand für Fragen und Hilfe jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir befürchteten, dass wegen der Nähe zum Fluss viele Mücken geben würde, aber es war nicht mehr als an anderen warmen Orten. Wir hatten warmes Wasser und WiFi. Zum Essen haben wir uns den Tisch auf die Terrasse unter den Ventilator gestellt, das war wirklich schön. Die Betten waren leider nur 180cm lang, dadurch konnte mein 198cm großer Mann nicht so gut schlafen. Jedes Zimmer hatte einen Deckenventilator und es gab zusätzliche Ventilatoren zum Aufstellen. Auch Mücken Netze waren in jedem Zimmer vorhanden.

Great stay and great place. We ended up extending our stay. It was value for the price paid.

Everything was great, Nalinda was constantly in touch with us and available for any request. The house itself is simply perfect, plenty of space and really direct access to the sea, definitely the house to book if you want to spend some days in Hikkaduwa! thanks for everything

We had a great time, close by short tuk tuk ride to diving, beach, surfing, bars and restaurants. There is a small beach very close, opposite the house but for a larger beach and more amenities it is just a short ride away. The family who look after the house were very kind and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.

Big authentic villa with swimming pool. Friendly host. Wonderful location. 5 minutes from ocean.

This location is beautiful situated in a jungle green area. We loved de quiet place and watching the animals and birds who passed the huge garden with banana trees etc. We had the opportunity to eat with the family, and had many delicious sri lankan curry 's and fruits available. In the night fire flies enter the rooms which is lovely to see. Beds where big and comfortable mattresses, there is hot water and a fully equipped kitchen. We really recommend this place, also good with kids!

We had a very comfortable, relaxing and nice stay at Nisal Bungalow. The hosts are very kind, welcoming and helpful, and even offered to drive us around to nearby places. They make special kinds of Srilankan foods and kindly shares it with us. The bungalow is located close to Hikkaduwa, but in a nice quiet place. Very good for people who like more calm environments. We will definitely be back. This time it was only for two days, but next time it will probably be for our whole vacation. Beautiful bungalow, beautiful people, beautiful stay. We can definitely recommend Nisal Bungalow!

Money Nest Bungalow is an amazing place to spend holidays.It is situated in very calm environment away from hustle bustle.It was super clean and tidy.It is very nice bungalow in a perfect environment.There were everything inside we needed. There is a very nice, huge garden.I enjoyed the nature very well.Sitting in the veranda we saw a lot of birds,squirrels and peacocks.It is a perfect place for the nature lovers.Sheeta was so friendly host and she was always ready to help us when we need.would like to highly recommend this place and will come back again.

This house is excellent! Place, nature, beach, and all of things are very comfortable and nearby the house. When we were planning our trip we looked at photos of this house and thought that it is smaller and has small garden, BUT there is a big garden with hammock and beautiful lights outside, the house is very big. We’ve saw a lot of friendly black monkeys, peacocks, chipmunks and other animals - it’s awesome. When you planning to live in this house - you should have no doubts - it is modern, comfortable and friendly place with GREAT host Ravindra! He became our friend and helped in all things that we’ve asked. Thanks a lot, my friend, we’ll try to get back! На русском: Друзья, фотографии дома принижают его крутость, все гораздо лучше, чем на фото. Есть большой сад, до «плавательного» пляжа максимум 5 минут пешком, магазинчики рядом, все удобно, до Велигамы 10 минут на тук-туке, до Мириссы 20 минут на тук-туке. Рядом с виллой пляж для сёрфинга и куча прикольных мест, например Чики Манки. Хозяин Равиндра просто топовый. Если думаете об этой вилле - берите смело, она очень хорошая, в доме есть все необходимое. Рядом есть домик, где живут местные - они очень добрые и помогают по дому (убираются и ухаживают за садом). В саду есть гамак, а возможно, скоро появится бассейн, так говорил хозяин Равиндра. Прожили в ней месяц в восьмером - все было круто. Рекомендуем однозначно.

My stay was short, but I really enjoyed the place. Although it’s a bit far from the beach, it was peaceful with no disturbances. The host, Tharaka, was very kind and shared all the necessary information while helping me a lot. I definitely recommend this place

Anna & Sudu's place is magnificent. It has the familiar feeling of a homestay and the privacy of your own little villa, with the benefits of a bigger shared kitchen, which gives the place a amazingly warm vibe. Sudu is a great chef, prepares, if you're as lucky as we were, the most delightful (self-caught) fish you'll ever eat. Anna is great and overwhelmingly helpful with tips, food, culture, laundry and all the things you'll need. We booked 1 week and stayed 3 weeks because of this warmth. The villa itself is spacious because of the hight, good bed, nicely decorated. And there is Zuma(dog), we're gonna kidnap him, Rudi the mini-cat and little 3yo Solona who dances and sings around. Highly recommend this place. We'll be back! Thanks
