Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

You can reach Zermatt in a 10-minute walk to the train station and from there in a 20-minute train ride. In summer, you will find quiet hiking trails nearby, the second-longest suspension bridge in the world, a mountain lake with a wakeboard lift, and a climbing gym. Unser Chalet befindet sich in einer Höhe von 1400 Meter auf einer Sonnenterrasse oberhalb des Visper- bzw. Rhonetals am Fuss der Moosalp. Wunderschöne Fauna und Flora abseits vom Massentourismus. Ein grosser Wohnraum mit Cheminée und drei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer stehen zur Verfügung. Im August 2018 haben wir mit der kompletten Renovierung des Chalets gestartet und freuen uns riesig über das Ergebnis der zwei Star Architekten Dani Ciccardini und Dirk Brandau.

The chalet was transformed in 2011 from a typical Valais barn-stable; plank walls on a stone base.

Our renovated chalet is located in the Val d 'Anniviers, a 15-minute drive from the resorts of St-Luc, Chandolin, Grimentz and Zinal, all partners of the Magic Pass. It is equipped with a spa area, with jacuzzi and hammam. Well-equipped kitchen, living room with wood burning stove, cable TV and wi-fi.

***NO PARTIES*** On top floor of an old, traditional house in the heart of Switzerland. Close to Interlaken and Spiez with a spectacular view. This place is unique, very calm. There is public transport, but I would recommend coming by car. A parking lot is provided for you.

Stay in the Lijischhüs in the middle of the knight's village

Niedergesteln is 10 km west of Visp. In the castle community from the 11th century, you feel like you are in the Middle Ages. The knight village is an ideal starting point to discover and enjoy Upper Valais on hikes, bike or ski tours.
