The atmosphere inside felt like it wasn’t in Hai Phong, but somewhere very secluded in Europe. The space was decorated in a simple way and with taste. It was very clean, smelled nice and I loved every moment of being there since the moment of stepping in and I recommend it for staying.

Die Unterkunft ist definitiv ein Highlight, und eine absolute Empfehlung. Tatsächlich hat unser Aufenthalt (3 Nächte) unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wer die Gegend authentisch erleben möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall nach Yen Duc, und in den Genuss der dortigen Gastfreundlichkeit, kommen. Der Ort ist wunderschön, idyllisch und ruhig, und kann kostenfrei mit dem Fahrrad erkundet werden. Na ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die sich aufmerksam, professionell und herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Dank ihrer Offenheit und sehr gutem Englisch durften wir viel über die Kultur erfahren und diese selbst im Rahmen verschiedener Aktivitäten, die optional angeboten werden (u.a. Fischfang, Reisverarbeitung, Dorfführung), kennenlernen. Von vietnamesischen Donuts, die wir mit Na und anderen Dorfbewohnern hergestellt haben, bis hin zu dem Besuch des Markts oder einer einheimischen Familie - wir fühlten uns jederzeit herzlich willkommen und von Na perfekt betreut. DANKE - auch für das leckere Essen!

Joy and her husband were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. When we needed an early morning taxi 6 hours to an airport, they made some calls and figured everything out for us! Would 100% recommend to anyone who plans on going to Cat Ba. Especially nice being out of the main town because of all the construction going on there.

amazing place! I couldn't believe the value for money. incredible views and very peaceful. gecko was a perfect host, super friendly and helpful. My highlight though has to be the trio of adorable dogs that live there. playing with puppies by the side of the pool whilst looking at the mountains and watching eagles fly low overhead. unforgettable experience. if you're in cat ba you have to stay here.

Super séjour de deux nuits ici. Excellent accueil et service. Gecko et sa famille sont attentionnés et ont eu le soucis de notre bien être lors de notre passage à cat ba. L’hébergement est bien placé . La nourriture est bonne! L’espace est propre et bien entretenu. Nous sommes tombé en amour avec les chiens domestiques très affectueux. Vraiment Génial !
