November 2020We stayed at Norma Jean and Dave’s home for about 3 months. It was a fantastic home for our family of 4. It’s so close to Squaw and it’s shopping and restaurants and there are trails just a short walk away. It was an amazing way to spend three months in the mountains during these crazy times. The home is well appointed with everything you need to live and enjoy your time in Tahoe. We already miss it. Norma Jean and Dave are wonderful hosts and we hope to visit again.

July 2020My friend and I stayed here for about a month and WE ARE OBSESSED. Norma Jean and Dave are hands down the most fantastic Airbnb hosts I’ve ever had, and the house is beautiful and super clean and comfortable. They have been super gracious and helpful in terms of ideas of where to go to get away from crowds, going as far as to draw out maps of incredible hikes. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need, including awesome pots and pans, which was very important to us in a long term stay. Also, we were able to work remotely from here – two people running Zoom and VPNs non-stop, Monday – Friday, and the internet connection is solid. The master suite bed is massive and super comfortable. We’ve hosted some visitors here as well, and there’s plenty of space and they’ve loved the house as much as we do. The location is perfection – I’m thrilled that we landed here and I know we’ll keep coming back as much as possible. This house is really well suited for long-term stays, and in the world of COVID, there really is no better spot to shelter in place!

August 2019This home is a wonderful taste of mountain living--a spacious, well-appointed home that is the perfect place to stay while enjoying Squaw Valley and Tahoe. I loved the easy access to the walking trails up and down the valley, and the bikes we could use for a longer jaunt. The kitchen was very well set up for meals, and our group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Best of all, our host provided personalized, detailed recommendations for nearby hikes, and even alerted us to a wildflower bloom which I was able to catch. It felt like staying with old friends! Would absolutely recommend and would love to return on a future visit!
