As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or more. With easy access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe, it is suitable for group trips, family vacations, and long-term stays.With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it is comfortable for extended stays. You can also come by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, provided the journey is within 2 hours each way.Please contact us in advance for car rental for 5 or more people. Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.

Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
