it was truly like coming home 😊. The cozy, old-cabin feel immediately enveloped us in comfort, offering a wonderful sense of warmth and history. We absolutely adored the landscape – waking up to the gentle bleating of sheep and seeing swans gracefully gliding by was incredibly peaceful and picturesque. We strongly recommend this Airbnb! The owner Rune was exceptionally helpful, taking the time to explain not only how everything worked but also candidly discussing the pros and cons, which we really appreciated. It's a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, homey setting with a host who goes above and beyond. keep in mind that it is not a five star hotel you are staying in😉. it's a traditional Norwegian cabin with all necessary facilities which you can easily and comfortably live with. highly recommended.

We were very lucky - we enjoyed mountain hikes in beautiful May weather and this fisherman’s cabin which was such a lovely surprise! It was as it is described and much more. It was very spacious, right on the water, had incredible views and everything we needed. The location was also very convenient - close to everything but a bit away so very romantic. Thank you Fredrik and Caroline for sharing your special place with us!

Absolute aanrader, deze complete, schone, gezellige cabin. De ligging is perfect als je de belangrijkste sights van de lofoten te bezoeken. Aarzel vooral niet om Toms Tips voor wat betreft interessante en mooie, maar rustigere plaatsen op te volgen. Absoluut een hele waardevolle aanvulling op tripadvisor en Lonely Planet, en misschien wel het beste aspect van dit verblijf. Hoewel… het fijne zitje buiten, de heerlijke douche, de goed geblindeerde slaapkamer en Toms enorm gastvrije, plezierige persoonlijkheid scoren ook erg hoog. Een heerlijke ‘thuisbasis’ tijdens ons verblijf op de Lofoten!

gemütliches Zuhause "auf Zeit" an fantastischer Lage Im Haus von Arnulf fühlt man sich sofort wie bei den (Gross)Eltern. Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden und das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Die Lage in Strandnähe mit Blick auf die Mitternachtssonne (oder Nordlichter wenn es wieder dunkel wird) ist eifach unbeschreiblich schön und Wandermöglichkeiten liegen quasi Vor der Haustüre. Wir werden sicher auch ein 4. Mal vorbeikommen!

Ich weiß gar nicht genau, welches Superlativ ich wählen soll. Die Wohnung von Monica ist einfach nur WOW!!!! Sehr groß und unglaublich stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. In der Küche findet man alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Das Wohnzimmer ist unglaublich schön. Die Betten sind ein Traum. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Waschmaschine im Badezimmer haben wir auch genutzt. Waschmittel ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist äußerst gut gelegen, sehr ruhig, aber doch dicht an Leknes heran und natürlich sehr dicht zum Offersøykammen. Monica und ihre Cousine waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten auch eher einchecken. Fazit, so gut haben wir noch nie über Airbnb gewohnt. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
