Structures and equipment made by the host of the space; seeking a functional entity for cooking, dining, sleeping and recreational use. Views of the field valley, sheep pastures, pine forest or the rugged rock behind form a diverse setting for a lean-to experience by the countryside + nature. Accommodation season all year round, with suitable equipment even in December.

Munkkiniemi is an affluent neighbourhood that's easily accessible from Helsinki city centre and the airport. There are shops, cafes and restaurants right next to my place. It has peaceful surroundings and good public transport connections. Within walking distance are Alvar Aalto's home and office, Seurasaari and Hotel Kalastajatorppa. You will have the place for yourself for the duration of your stay. My home is not suitable for people with dog allergy. I'll be happy to help with anything!

The hosts look forward to share the closed cosy garden in the Old Town - you only have 100 meters to the ocean, the old church with its beautiful tower and the market place.

From Porvoo, the journey by car takes about 30 minutes, and from Helsinki, it takes less than an hour to get here. The distance to the center of Porvoo is 25 km and 66 km from the center of Helsinki. Suitable for 2-4 people. Even as a base for a fishing trip or a nature trip. All the basics can be found. Electric heating, water supply, wood sauna and wood. The kitchen has the necessary dishes and cutlery. Outdoors, there is a barbecue, fire basket and dining area.

The apartment has been renovated in spring 2019 with a completely new kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms. The kitchen should meet the demands of a good home cook. Basic amenities are always available, we will try to meet extra requests. Netflix is for free. The apartment is best suited for two adults but there is a couch in the living room that is spacious and comfortable enough for sleeping as well. House-trained pets are welcome. There is a balcony where smoking is allowed.
