Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood stove for the winter. We deliver a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The Little Gîte of Saint Martin, Roquefixade

Fabuleux gîte de caractère de 60m², entièrement rénové avec tout confort, fibre optique, jardin privé et parking. Ce gîte meublé indépendant est situé dans un hameau paisible au pied des Pyrénées au coeur du pays cathare. Superbe vue sur les montagnes et l'ancien château de Roquefixade. Charming recently renovated cottage set in the heart of a 70-hectare organic vineyard estate, in the Pays Cathare, close to Carcassonne and its many castles. It offers stunning views over amphitheatre-shaped vineyards and the surrounding countryside, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Located next to the Belgian owners’ farmhouse, it remains entirely private, surrounded by nature. During your stay, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

On the border between Aude and Ariège, Carcassonne and Mirepoix, in a natural environment, you can enjoy a 1.5 h, in peace and quiet. Here are plenty of walks to be had around the gîte, and if you enjoy hiking or cycling, this is the ideal place, with its footpaths and the "voie verte" ! Mirepoix, Carcassonne, Fanjeaux, Chalabre, Camon, the Cathar castles are close. To diversify your activities, the sea is just 1h20 away and ski resorts are only 1h away.
