Absolutely amazing, peaceful stay at the chalet! Beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Easy train ride up from lauterbrunnen and 5-10 min walk to chalet. Very cute and quaint!!

Such a beautiful and quiet place to stay in. The apt was absolutely charming, comfortable, and spacious! You also get a discount going up a gondola that's right next door! I think my only complaint is that the shower was a little claustrophobic. Could help if there's a glass door rather than a curtain. But other than that, it was an amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in Wengen at this Airbnb, it wasn’t too hard to find- and the views were just incredible. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative through everything. The space was clean and exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again!!!

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

Great location in quiet surrounding, close to the station for train to Zermatt. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment.

Der Aufenthalt auf der Alm war großartig! Es tat einfach gut mal kurz aus der "modernen Welt" auszutreten. Wir waren überrascht wie schnell man sich an die Gegebenheiten gewöhnen kann, z.B. ohne Strom (bis auf Handy aufladen) auszukommen. Die Ausstattung in der Hütte hat es einem leicht gemacht diesen Umstieg ins ursprüngliche Leben. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Es gab nichts wo wir gesagt haben "hätten wir das jetzt noch hier...". Auch die umfangreiche Ausstattung für draußen zu kochen fanden wir großartig. Unser Highlight war der Pizzastein auf dem Grill. Wir waren rundum mit der Hütte zufrieden, sie war top sauber und aufgeräumt, die Lage ist großartig, man ist komplett für sich alleine, bis auf Kühe und Esel, was uns gerade richtig viel Spaß bereitet hat und der Ausblick in die Berge ist einfach traumhaft. Egal ob Regen und Gewitter, wir haben draußen gesessen und den Anblick genossen! Vielen Dank für die tolle Woche!

We really enjoyed our stay. The chalet is in a great location and all was as described. Elisabeth was a great host!

We had an amazing time in this apartment. Easy to find with convenient parking and simple access. The owners were always quick to respond and super friendly. The apartment is basic but immaculately clean and well equipped, even down to the dishwasher tablets, toilets rolls etc. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and we enjoyed our morning coffees watching the sunrise and evening tipple catching the afternoon sun. You can walk into town for skiing or meals out in 15 minutes or so, the walk back is uphill though so a good workout! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Leysin!

Wij hebben een zalige tijd gehad in deze authentieke Zwitserse chalet. Prachtige ligging met een adembenemend zicht op de vallei en besneeuwde bergtoppen. Bij goed weer is het zalig zitten op het terras. Prima douche & goede bedden. Het geluid van de koeienbellen maakt het verhaal af. Wij hopen zeker snel terug te komen.

Was für ein schöner Ort! In Wirklichkeit ist es noch spektakulärer als auf den Fotos. Ich bin so froh, dass ich dort war – es war wirklich ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Das Essen ist lecker, und die Wanderung zum Berggasthaus ist wunderschön, mit herrlichen Ausblicken unterwegs. Stephanie und die anderen Mitarbeiter*innen sind sehr sympathisch und herzlich. Ich bin so dankbar, dass ich die Gelegenheit hatte, diesen besonderen Ort zu besuchen. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Noel’s home made for an excellent stay in Switzerland! He is a very responsive and helpful host and helped us with everything we needed promptly. The house has a pool and a beautiful lookout point that both made the stay extra special. The only thing to be aware of is the property is situated in the middle of two steep hills, and it’s about a thirty minute walk to restaurants/town. However down the hill is Planchamp, where you can catch trains into town, and if you want to avoid walking back up the hill on your way back head to Chernex and walk down!

Fabulous stay in Interlaken! Location was perfect for the price we paid - Frutigen is only few mins drive to Kandersteg and Blausee lake! Very convenient to other sightseeing area too! The place is super clean, well equipped and the mountain view from the window is unbeatable! The smell from the farm didn't really bother us as it doesn't go inside the house. Really appreciate the travel cot and children toys as I have small ones - the toys rally kept them busy while I unpack! I would definitely stay here again :)

Die Unterkunft ist ein wahres Juwel, sehr geräumig, hat alles was es braucht. Es gab sogar noch frische Eier von den hauseigenen Hühner beim Empfang. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, alles war blitzsauber. Franziska und Simon haben uns grossartige Tipps gegeben und sind herzlich und sehr gastfreundlich. Wir würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Our second time here and yet again we had the most fabulous time. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning the next visit. The location and the apartment are wonderful, the view is very special too.

Petite maison chaleureuse, très joli jardin, vue sur les montagnes, ce lieu est magique. Céline est une hôte très attentionnée et mon séjour s'est déroulé parfaitement.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very kind and friendly, and warmly introduced us to the nearby attractions. Thanks to his recommendations, we were able to see the Matterhorn with just a 20-minute drive. He also provided a bottle of delicious local wine, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended for anyone traveling by car — it's a perfect base to explore the area！

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le logement proposé par Roland et Martina Tout s est très bien passé Accueil chaleureux avec des jolies surprises à manger et à boire Appartement très propre, cuisine bien équipée, un salon cosy , une chambre calme avec une literie confortable et à l’exterieur une table et un parasol installés dans le jardin pour profiter des repas dehors par beau temps Les vélos disponibles très pratiques pour aller au village Et si l’on souhaite y aller à pied, c est à 20 minutes par la route principale agréable fréquentée principalement par des marcheurs et des vélos et en alternative des jolis sentiers dans la verdure avec de jolis paysages Les randonnées aux alentours sont époustouflantes avec des vues sur les montagnes incroyables Roland et Martina ont été très accueillants, soucieux de notre bien être et ont veillé à ce que l’on ne manque de rien On recommande à 100%

We had such a lovely time at Chalet Emmely. It was extremely clean and smartly renovated inside, with spectacular views of Grindelwald and the Eiger from the windows. There is a parking space included for a rental car, which was really convenient for us. The place is also located on a side road so it is very quiet and peaceful. The host Anita is so kind, attentive, and energetic. She took the time to meet us when we checked in, explained everything to us, and showed us around the property. We would highly recommend Chalet Emmely and we hope to be back one day soon!

Nicolas was very proactive about contacting us prior to our stay to ensure our questions were well answered prior to our stay. When we checked in, he came by to say hello and made sure everything was okay. The home was also very well maintained, spacious and had amazing views of the lake! It is within walkable distance of the train station and parking is also conveniently available in the village. The village is very quaint and everyone was very friendly. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.
