When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. Krāģīši is a unique family house. Built from wood and straw bales, it surprises and greets visitors with its special countryside aura. Originally the house was built for school purposes.
