Private suite holiday rentals in Vancouver Island

Had a fabulous time in Deep Cove and would liked to have stayed longer. The apartment was all that we needed although it would benefit from more clothes storage. Celeste communicated well via messages but a little disappointed that we didn’t get to meet in person. We loved the area and enjoyed walking the Quarry Rock and BP trails. Arms Reach and Scratch Kitchen were both excellent restaurants. We would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Our host was lovely and very helpful. The apartment has wonderful views over the bay. The bed was very comfortable and both the bathroom and kitchen were well appointed and well stocked with essentials. One thing to point out is that the property is accessed via some steep steps, so may not be suitable for someone with limited mobility. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

The Jade’s house served our purpose nicely, to spend a night in a peaceful cozy place. Everything was as advertised, very clean and private. Nanaimo’s old city, Harbour and ferry are within 15 min drive.

Had a lovely stay at Jeremy and Bronwyn’s place. Great location and very well taken care of. Would recommend!

Maureen‘s place is fabulous. It is squeaky clean. It is super comfortable. It’s a great location and she has provided everything you could possibly think of that you might need.. she had fresh strawberries and croissants along with yogurt and milk and coffee for us so we didn’t have to go shopping right away . All of the accommodations and products are top-of-the-line. The bed is super comfortable and everything is convenient. . There’s a great grocery store nearby and it’s easy to go for a walk down to the beach, which is right across the street. There are several parks very close by that are excellent for walking and hiking. . I could easily spend a month or more in her place. She was very helpful when we asked questions and just delightful to talk to and get recommendations for the local area.. This is one of the best Airbnb locations. I’ve stayed at in the last eight years.

Airbnb looks exactly like the pictures. It was very clean with a lot of thoughtful touches like local products including soap and coffee that are made on the island. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. Favourite part was having a morning coffee on the backyard deck with views of the valley. Location is very peaceful but still close to town (if you have a car). Kelly and her partner were very responsive and hospitable! Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this Airbnb — it’s an absolute gem! Waking up to a panoramic ocean view right from the bedroom was magical, especially on a sunny day when we could see the snow-capped peak of Mount Baker in the distance. Nature lovers will be thrilled — during our stay, we encountered two adorable deer, a group of wild rabbits, seals, Canada geese, and even an elegant egret. The home itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves at night was an experience we’ll treasure — truly the kind of peaceful luxury that makes a vacation special. Mason is a fantastic host — incredibly kind, attentive, and caring. It’s clear he puts a lot of heart into making guests feel welcome. All in all, this place was a rare find and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Jayne's place is just as described - clean, well stocked and homey. Clear instructions made finding the place and getting in a breeze. The space is quite large and comfortable for two people. Jayne was quick and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend for a great location in Cowichan Bay!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was exactly as described - gorgeous inside and out. We loved the decor and it felt so cozy and comfortable. The view from the deck was fantastic and we felt so close to nature. At times we could hear nothing but the many species of birds! We loved watching the harbour seals out front of the cottage and saw many bald eagles! We enjoyed the hottub and the fire table every evening as well as exploring the beach area. Lots of great beaches close by (ocean and freshwater). We hope to back SOON! Thank you for the incredible stay!
