The home is located in our garage (model larger). The stair to the sleeping loft is via the garage. In a minute you are at the lake where you can fish from the dock, swim, skate, depending on the time of year! It is about 2.5 km to the city center and there is bike path almost all the way. Read the “listing” tab regarding children as guests. Bed linens and cleaning can be booked for an extra fee.

The Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg Park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stucco fixtures, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a stone-laid patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjön's nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you have to crawl up on the sofa and light a fire in the fireplace.

A super cozy timber cabin in the woods. This place is made for the adventurous or for a relaxing getaway. Just take our rowing boat for a swim at the lake, use our digital maps with paths only the locals know walking or biking, take a sauna or just cuddle upp in front of the huge soapstone stove. The cabin is around 50 m² and sleeps 5 persons with 2 single beds and 2 double beds to choose from. Firewood, maps, sauna, rowing boat etc is all inclusive & dogs are of course welcome too!

Träna i det lilla men lyxiga gymmet och koppla sedan av i badkaret eller i bastun. Hämta kraft. Kotten är en unik arkitektritad bostad för de som vill komma iväg från stress och storstad. Barn måste vara över 9 år. Här finns inga måsten, bara fridfullhet. Huset är byggt helt i trä och är klätt med cederspån. Från 1 november 2025 tar vi endast 4 gäster.

Staying at Karin's place was fantastic. The location in very beautiful and peaceful. The views from the cabin are gorgeous and the cabin has all the needs for a short stay. Karin is very friendly and was great to talk with her. Staying at Karin's place is very good in summer due to the summer deck but also can be very well enjoyed during the winter due to the amazing views. To repeat!

The place in the old barn is really something special! The bed is very cozy and the bathroom spacious. Note: it can get a little cold. Thick socks and a sweater were valuable. The house is accessible only by car and is very quiet. The place is the perfect base for many excursions. Mikael and Annette are great hosts, helpful and very funny. Every morning there was a great breakfast and Mikael gave us insider tips for beautiful hikes and the perfect beaches. Thanks for the three beautiful nights! We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!!
