Come and stay in our cozy 19th century house in the heart of the farm. Ice skating in case of cold weather and sledding in case of a lot of snow in the yard. * Access to the wood-fired sauna is available for SEK 300 per use. * Grilling at the log cabin in the adjacent forest is available. * Beach at Lake Mälaren is a few kilometers away. * The center of Strängnäs is about half a mile from the farm. * Bed linens and towels are brought by the guest, but can be rented for SEK 50 per guest. Pre-booked. * Eggs and potatoes are available for purchase on the property.

Ringsö - Mälaren Archipelago

Only 90 minutes from Stockholm! Welcome to our paradise on Ringsö in Lake Mälaren's archipelago. Ringsö is a car-free island that you can get to with your own boat. Nature and water are right outside the door. It is not uncommon to see hares, deer and sometimes moose along the walks on the island. Take a refreshing swim on one of the island's beaches (about a 3-minute walk to the beach from the house) or try your luck fishing at one of the island's jetties. Cook dinner at our outdoor kitchen with barbecue and end the day on the patio at sunset.

There are extra mattresses as well as a guesthouse and sauna building with extra shower and toilet. Fiber is available that allows it is also a great fit to work from here. Close to nature plot with grass lawn for summer activities. About 150 meters to the dock, a motorboat for fishing and swimming, and a kayak for 2 people. Lovely 4.5 km running track around Björsund. The newly renovated house from mid 19th century is located 12 km north of Malmköping. A medium sized lake for swimming and fishing is available 500 mtrs from the house. Rowing boat is available. There are a variety of nice places to visit and sightseeing nearby such as Gripsholm with the historic castle dating back to the 16th century. Moose, deer and other wild animals are abundant in the forests as well as blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms. Stockholm is 80 km away.

Rent our cozy cabin - a year-around pearl. Enjoy your breakfast on the glassed veranda, keeping a lookout for deer passing by. Go mushroom hunting in the thick Swedish forest just outside your door. Bring your coffee to the lake just below the house - if you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the lake's own beaver. Wrap your day up with dinner and wine in the spacious kitchen, before you crash on the couch, slumbering to the crackling sounds of the fireplace.

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here).
