We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s place - incredible accessibility to Stockholm and all with beautiful natural surrounds and interesting hiking trails for miles. She was super responsive and kindly gave some local recommendations. For anyone who loves nature but is also keen to experience the city, this is a perfectly placed spot. Es hat alles gepasst - Unterkunft wie auf den Bildern. Susanne ist sehr freundlich und hat uns wenn Fragen aufkamen immer direkt geantwortet. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und man kann dort gut entspannen. Man ist sehr schnell in der umliegenden Stadt. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen! ☺️👍

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Wir waren für 3 Nächte in diesem Tiny House und es war einfach toll! Lotta ist super nett und stellt sogar Lebensmittel für Frühstück bereit. Man schaut in den wunderschönen Garten und ist von der U-Bahn nicht weit weg, mit der man schnell in die Stadt kommt. Enskede ist dazu auch eine schöne Gegend! Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Lotta empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

För tredje året i rad har jag fått njuta av den fantastiska lillstugan vid sjön! Värden Ulrich tog emot mig lika vänligt och hjälpsamt som vanligt. Här får man verkligen vila ut och njuta av den vackra naturen. Sitter man på altanen vid bryggan så kommer man garanterat se en rad olika fåglar simma förbi och i skogen runtom finns ekorrar och rådjur som kommer nära. Stugan är otroligt mysig och har allt man kan behöva under sin vistelse. Sängen är mycket bekväm, köket är utrustat och grillkol finns på plats om man vill grilla ute istället. Lillstugan på Vättersö har blivit en fin årlig tradition för min del och jag ser redan fram emot nästa år!

Eriks cabin is modern and had all you needed like a fridge, wifi, stove top and oven. The view is the stealer of this small yet open floor plan that even has a three person table. The bathroom is equipped with a stand up rain shower. The deck is large and even though on Eriks house near by, has plenty of privacy. The sunrise and sunset views are gorgeous. The walk from the road to the cabin is about three mins downhill on a dirt road. It is definitely not a place with large bulky suitcases but if you are okay with getting what you need to the space, I say It is a nice brisk walk. I rented the sauna during the evenings and i have to say it is paradise. It is nicely designed with a glass door facing the sea. Everything is programmed by wifi so all you need to show up is your sauna attire! There is also a hiking area from the cabin you can walk for miles and get to high places with views of Stockholm! I definitely will be back.

Un véritable petit havre de paix ! Le logement est moderne, bien agencé et parfaitement situé en bord de mer avec une vue imprenable. Nous avons adoré le calme de la nature environnante. Idéal pour se ressourcer. Tout était propre et bien pensé, l’hôte est réactif et accueillant. On recommande vivement !

Schönes kleines Haus mit Whirlpool und super Aussicht. Es gab ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die man verbessern könnte, aber wenn das niemand sagt, weiß der Gastgeber es ist nicht. Daher haben wir einfach mal darauf hingewiesen, dass man das Bett verschieben könnte. Dann wäre mehr Platz etc... der Whirlpool ist ein Genuss, aber es gibt noch andere Häuser und die Bewohner laufen am Whirlpool vorbei. Das fand ich irgendwie komisch. Auch am Pier waren immer Menschen, dieser wird mit anderen Unterkünften geteilt. Es werden wohl mehrere Häuser vermietet und die begegnen sich alle. Das war für uns vorher nicht klar. Ich hätte gerne ohne Zuschauer gebadet. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum, die Gastgeber sehr nett. Nächster Supermarkt ca 12 Kilometer. Alles in allem toll für eine kurze Auszeit.

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

Ho trascorso due splendidi giorni in questo piccolo cottage. Si può esplorare la natura circostante e l'area è molto tranquilla e rilassante. Se si ha una macchina è molto ben connesso con l'aeroporto di Arlanda e ci si può facilmente recare a Stoccolma e Uppsala. Izabella è stata una host fantastica, sempre attenta al proprio ospite! Lo raccomando!

Wir haben die Zeit im Häuschen von Bonice und Johan sehr genossen. Im Haus gab es alles, was für unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt notwendig war. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung von Stockholm perfekt geeignet. Die U-Bahn ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt und von dort gelangt man jederzeit schnell ins Zentrum. Vielen Dank, dass wir im Gästehaus von Bonice und Johan wohnen durften, wir können diese kleine Haus nur empfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay at their place! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our host Martin was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you for a great swedish experience!

Die Unterkunft ist an einem sehr idyllischen See mit einem privaten Steg. Einfach perfekt um sich zu erhohlen, der Natur nah zu sein und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten. Zudem stehen SUP’s und ein Ruderboot zur Verfügung mit denen der See erkundet werden kann. Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Es hat uns unglaublich gut gefallen und wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

We really enjoyed our stay at the tinyhouse and can recommend it to any other traveller. The train ride to Stockholm is very short and easy to handle.

My wife, my 2 children and I really enjoyed our stay at Nico's place. Nico was a great host and his recommendations were excellent. We had several beautiful walks and enjoyed the city of Stockholm. We even had time for swim in the pool. I would highly recommend and we hope to return some day soon.

Dieses Häuschen im Stockholmer Schärengarten war ein absoluter Glücksgriff für mich! Es liegt in der Nähe der Bushaltestelle und ist deshalb sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Die Lage im Grünen ist einfach traumhaft und man hat viele Möglichkeiten, etwas in der Natur zu unternehmen oder einfach nur auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Garten zu genießen. Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber unheimlich gut ausgestattet (sogar ein Geschirrspüler) und sehr gemütlich. In dem Bett habe ich einen Monat wie auf Wolken geschlafen. Christina war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Sollte ich wieder mal in die Gegend kommen, würde ich das Häuschen wieder mieten.

Wunderschöne Lage! Keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Naturreservat. Auch die Fähre nach Stockholm ist zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Generell ist der Nahverkehr in der Gegend sehr gut. Abends hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser. Mit etwas Glück und Geduld kann man den Biber im Naturreservat beobachten. Joakim war ein sehr netter und sympathischer Gastgeber! Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle die sowohl etwas Natur als auch Stockholm sehen wollen.

Fantastiskt fin stuga som hade allt som vi behövde och önskade. Även toppentrevlig, tydlig och snabb kommunikation med Frida och Joakim. Skulle starkt rekommendera detta ställe! 😊

I would definitely recommend staying at Dan’s cosy house. The accommodation looks even better than on pictures, the neighbourhood is quiet and nice and there’s a direct bus to Stockholm city center. There’s nothing to complain about.

Vi hade härliga dagar i Susannes stugor. Så vackert belägna uppe på bergssidan och med fina promenadvägar för hundpromenaderna. Så lugnt och fridfullt. Vi njöt av de olika sittplatserna på altanen när vädret tillät och hade det mysigt i vardagsrummet med en tänd brasa när det blev för kallt ute. Hit kan vi absolut tänka oss att återkomma!

Lotta’s summer cottage is charming, clean, quiet and cosy, and very central in Dalarö. The check-in could not have been easier, and the accommodation is as described (although the bed was a little soft for us). Communication was easy via Airbnb, and it was nice to meet Lotta when she came to say hello. Autumn visitors should note that most of the town’s restaurants and tourist shops are closed from early September, or only open at weekends (although the supermarket is open).
