To Branäs ski resort, it takes 25 minutes and to Långberget, with both nice hiking trails and ski trails, it is an hour's drive. The cottage belongs to Länsmansgården, which was built in the mid-18th century. The owners live on the property.

If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan is recommended up on the mountain, to see the beautiful nature.
