Cabin holiday rentals in Västra Götaland County

Nox is a very good host, very nice, reactive and super helpful! The cabin is really cute, greatly located to explore Tivedens National Park and with very nice equipments (hot tub, sauna), perfect after hiking!

Great place, jetty, super nice cottage, sauna & hot tub great and everything very clean, thank you. The bathtub needs about 2-3 hours to get hot and at least one complete bag of wood (also available in the nearby COOP), this information would be helpful so you can plan a bit.

We had an incredible week, the place is beautiful, removed from everything but not from the essential, tranquility. We used the jacuzzi every night at midnight and the sun was still there, shy but present. The accommodation is very cozy, nothing is missing, the bedding is perfect and yet we are fragile in the back, the air conditioning is very appreciable at night when it is a little hot. We're less than 20 minutes from everything. Breakfast in the morning in the sun on the terrace is really paradise here. Christian is a good and kind person and he has a very interesting past, he has an easy smile and a very playful and cute little dog. In short, we spent a dream week in an idyllic place, go there with your eyes closed, you will not be disappointed. Ingrid and Yohann Thanks Christian.

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quiet, on a quasi private lake with a neighboring house. Apart from deer and birds, we have not seen any other living creatures in the time. Perfect for relaxing and getting rid of stress! Despite the changeable weather, we had a wonderful time, as you can also do something on bad days, e.g. drive into Gothenburg. All in all, I can only highly recommend this house and the location!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully located between the rocks, giving it a peaceful and private atmosphere, yet still close to scenic walking paths with amazing views. It’s also just a short distance from the ferry, which made getting around very convenient. Malin was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The gas bottle for the grill was out, but it worked out by us having to drive to a gas station and buy and the host paid to me, so it was ok. Guess it was the guests before us who ran out of the gas without notifying the host.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cabin for the weekend. Britta is an amazing host who really elevated the experience. Got a chance to greet the animals, burn in the stoves, eat breakfast outdoors with the view of the farm and swim in the hot tub under the starry sky. Recommend shopping in the farm shops that are around Sollebrunn and visit Gräfsnäs castle ruin. Very happy with the visit, perfect oasis for getting out of town. Thanks Britta!

We were warmly welcomed by Annika and Jonas. The little house is equipped with all the comforts and feels very homely. We enjoyed the view, the hot tub, swimming in the sea, kayaking, sitting on the terrace and the lovely cats. Annika and Jonas were there for us immediately if we needed anything. It is a beautiful spot on the coast, a place we would love to return to.

We felt like in paradise. The Nästa lake is directly on the property with its own jetty. The location was sensational. A trip to the Storre Mosse Park is also highly recommended. We loved the balcony overlooking the lake. Good shopping facilities were 15 km away.

We had a wonderful stay with Louise and Niklas! From the first contact to departure, everything was absolutely uncomplicated and warm. The two are incredibly courteous and likeable hosts who, with great attention to detail, ensure that you immediately feel welcome and comfortable. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need – we lacked nothing. The location was also ideal – quiet, but still well connected, with great opportunities in the area. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend a stay with Louise and Niklas! Emil's house is spacious, very nicely decorated and has a beautiful terrace. The sleeping arrangements in the house are great everywhere, only with very small children the stairs up may be a bit steep. But it didn't affect us :) - we felt totally comfortable!

Such a nice gem, bright and close to nature for enjoyable days all year round. Practical for us with a dog who could be out on the porch and swim in the lake. Ended our days with a visit to the Spinneriet in Lindome, simply a hit!

One of best places where we stayed. Great and peaceful countryside with warm hearted people. Great host and accommodating. Only downside was that we stayed only for one night. I am sure that I want to visit again😊

This was one our our favorite places we’ve stayed! The atmosphere of the boat house was so cozy and had everything we needed and more. The surroundings were just beautiful - such a treat to spend time on the water. Our little one loved playing on the little beach and going out in the kayak. The location was perfect, very peaceful and also not too far from a day trip to the city. Christina is an excellent host, I would highly recommend her place!

Very fresh and cozy cottage where we spent a quiet and lovely weekend. Mail and Anton were helpful and gave clear information and were easy to get hold of. Very happy.

The driveway through the woods to the property was already cool. The house was super equipped, super clean and so cozy that you immediately felt at home. Includes candles, speakers to play music. All done with love! The location is awesome too. We can only recommend this place to everyone. Best regards

Perfect accommodation to have a quiet weekend in and/or start from for day trips in the area.

This was an experience. It's an area that can only be called scenic or picturesque, like some painting depicting an idealized version of rural Sweden (no, I'm not exaggerating, it's really that beautiful). The description "straight out of a Astrid Lindgren saga" is more than apt. The little hut, which is located near a farm, is quaint and very cozy. There's an outhouse, an overlook, and a sauna you are free to use. You can get to Vänern, Sweden's biggest lake, and the surrounding Hällekis & Kinnekulle area easily from here by car or by bike. These are well worth a visit, especially in the summer. I'll definitely try out the sauna next time I stay here.

We loved our stay at Styrsö! ❤️ The best thing about the cabin is the location : sea front, peacefull, close to grocery store and local restaurant/cafe, west - sunset view. Oh no wait... actually the best part is private entrance to the sea! We could enjoy an amazing refreshing swim. A lot of nature around. Beautiful landscape. I definitelly 100% reccommend staying here, everything was perfect, just how I imagined weekend getaway on Göteborg Archipelago islands!

We stayed in Ingrid's house over a weekend with families in three generations as part of a 70th birthday celebration - everyone was incredibly happy with the stay, and Ingrid was a top host who responded quickly and kindly and gave an incredibly helpful and pleasant impression. The house is very beautiful and peaceful, but with all the modern comforts you could wish for. Everything really matched the expectations from the advertisement. If it had been closer (now just over 5 hours by car and two small children) I would not have hesitated to come back, and I highly recommend Ingrid and the accommodation!
