Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vaux-sur-Mer

A dreamlike house in the idyll of west France! We had a wonderful time as a family in the beautiful house Colibri in Médis. We are very thankful for Hélène and Delphine being warmly welcoming to us and tremendously friendly, uncomplicated and extremely helpful. Large and beautiful Charentaise house with swimming pool and barbecue with many advantages, games room, 5 spacious bedrooms, pleasant living room for 12 people. Secure outdoor parking for 3 vehicles.

We spent a week with Thierry in May. Thierry responded very kindly and uncomplicated to the fact that our arrival was delayed more and more. He welcomed us very nicely and gave us many tips. You can see from the house that Thierry is a flea market fan, we thought that gives the house character, it is really unique. It is quiet, with a lot of nature around, the frogs croak their concert, and the nightingales sing at night. The large, slightly overgrown garden (we like it) was fenced in so that our dog could go in and out of the house as he pleased. The area is pleasantly less crowded with tourists, but there were still opportunities to do something. Small tip: do not stay in the caravan if you are taller than about 180 cm (we are a little shorter, so it worked out well). Many thanks to Thierry, we hope to come back!

Ideal accommodation for a stay with family or friends. Located a stone's throw from the seaside, 5 minutes' walk from the beach, we loved the wild and peaceful environment. The house is very well equipped, each bedroom has a bathroom and a toilet, there are three large sleeping areas. We stayed with three small children and the accommodation was perfectly suitable and safe for them. We loved staying for the weekend, we will come back with great pleasure!

From the moment we arrived, Nicole was welcoming. His house is amazing, perfect in the heat with the pool, but also close to many cities with plenty of activity!

Very spacious and well-appointed house, large and fenced outside (perfect with dogs) and a big plus with the heated pool. Great location to discover the island and access to the beach on foot appreciable. Nelly's great flexibility on check-in and check-out times with responsive response. A few amenities would be worth repairing or changing for everything to be perfect. We'll be happy to go back!

As advertised, the staircase is "steep"😉. You have to hold on tight to go down. The accommodation is very clean, very well-equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, traditional oven, Nespresso coffee machine), and has large volumes, which is an asset for a vacation, where everyone needs space in a family of 2 parents and 2 young children. Shops are nearby, the supermarket is accessible by car in 10 minutes. Privately, we gave our host some suggestions for improvement, but it's very personal, everyone has their own lifestyle. Thank you for a great family vacation. We recommend it.

Apartment for 4 people as described, very bright with beautiful sea view. Royan city center and the beaches are a few steps away. Comfortable bedding. Very welcoming and attentive host. We recommend!

We had a great week in Régine and François's beautiful apartment, offering panoramic views to the ocean. The terrace, spacious and very pleasant, was a real plus to fully enjoy this grandiose view. The apartment is impeccably clean and of exceptional quality, perfectly equipped. Nothing is missing, everything has been thought out for our comfort. Régine and François are friendly, welcoming, and very responsive hosts, both before and during our stay. They were also very accommodating, and their little touches upon arrival touched us a lot. The location of the apartment is ideal: in a quiet area facing the sea, with direct access to a superb beach. The city center, with its restaurants and shops, is just a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride. Soulac is a charming and beautiful town. A big thank you to Régine and François! We had a great stay in the charming apartment of St Palais sur Mer. Sandrine welcomed us very well and gave us all the necessary information. We were able to store our bike rack and bikes very conveniently. The apartment is ideally located: beachfront and city center 2 min walk. And still very quiet. The apartment is very well arranged. Everything is designed to make everyday life easier: hooks, coat racks, cupboards, etc. The decoration is sober, tasteful, pleasant and relaxing (sorry for lovers of blue and white marine decoration with constant reminders of the sea) and of course everything is very clean. The best part is the small balcony with a sea view, which is a real treat for breakfast and aperitifs. A very good time that we plan to relive as soon as possible. We had a very pleasant week despite random weather. Things to do nearby for everyone House well suited to our multi-generation family. The 3 bathrooms are a real highlight . Fabrice was very nice and responsive to each of our requests. Thank you!!

We had a great stay at the "Clairette", the house is ideally located and perfect for 2 families with children. Beach, market, tavern 10 min walk! We will keep the address of this peaceful and rejuvenating place! LocaRonce was very responsive in our exchanges, good communication.

The house is beautiful as well as the view from the garden and located in a lovely village with an excellent butcher, baker and a market once a week. Aurelie and Franck are very welcoming. They surprised us with a bottle of the local white whine that was delicious and were very accommodating. We had a great time in Breuillet which is a 15 min drive from the nearest beaches. Strongly recommend!

Very good stay in Jean-Luc's accommodation, well located in the village, we did everything on foot. The garden is lovely. A perfect accommodation to enjoy the sea in peace with family or friends!
