House holiday rentals in Vaxholm Municipality

Excellent house and would highly recommend to other groups of friends looking for a place not far from the city.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf Kullö. Die Insel ist bezaubernd und man ist schnell auf Vaxholm und in Stockholm, so dass wir viele schöne Ausflüge machen konnten! Die Kommunikation mit Frida und Jonathan war sehr angenehm und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!

With almost 10 years of travelling and staying through Airbnb, I can say this is by far the BEST experience I've ever had. Others wouldn't even come close, this is just simply the best. We arrived on a ferry - there are regular services between Skarpoborg and Vaxholm, if you miss the schedule there's all-day car ferry service to Rindo, then a 20-minute walk to the villa. Claude's place is spotless. You can see how much effort he has put into the house, from the kitchen to integrated sound system throughout the house. Once you stepped into the villa you could feel this is not just an Airbnb - it's an admiration of a well-curated house. We wished that we could have been stayed much longer in the house - will definitely return again.

Vi ble mottatt av Egon og hans familie i huset og de viste oss rundt. De var veldig vennlige og vi følte oss med en gang som hjemme. Huset er nydelig, med fantastiske uteplasser og mye utstyr. Her har en alt en trenger, både inne og ute. Bassenget er og oppvarmet om det er en dag uten sol. To gode bad, flott kjøkken og en super utestue som en kan kose seg i på kvelden eller om det er litt kjølig. Det er en kort tur inn til koselige Vaxholm og om en vil på shopping er Stockholm også i rimelig nærhet. Vi hadde bil, men tok og en del buss. Bussen gikk ofte og det er lett å finne fram. Vi vil anbefale dette stedet på det varmeste. Nydelig hus og gode verter. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Sandra‘s Haus. Alles toll eingerichtet und der Garten mit dem tollen Pool war grandios. Wir lieben die Gegend und die tolle Lage in den Schären. Die Anbindung an Stockholm war mit dem Bus möglich. Wir haben uns jedoch für die Fahrt mit dem Schiff von Vaxholm entschieden und konnten so die traumhafte Natur vom Wasser aus erleben und waren in 1 Stunde im Zentrum von Stockholm. Sandra hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben. So wie auch das Restaurant Pavillon in Resarö. Das ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp mit fantastisch schmeckendem Essen und ruhiger Lage. Danke für den tollen Urlaub bei Euch!

Quel magnifique séjour ! La maison est parfaite pour famille (même nombreuse !). Située juste en face d’un parc avec des jeux pour enfants, elle offre également une belle piscine chauffée et un trampoline. La maison est très agréable à vivre, bien équipée et située à proximité du train pour rejoindre le centre de Stockholm rapidement. Lennart a été un hôte parfait, disponible et réactif.

A unique home located in beautiful surroundings. The house is stylish, spacious, clean and well appointed as per the listing. Nice touches like toiletries make it homely. We did not use the pool as found the water a bit cold for our taste. It was perfect for our family of 5 with older kids. The steep stairs may however be an issue for toddlers or people with reduced mobility. The self check in was a dream and Kim is very responsive and attentive, totaly deserves the 'superhost' label. We would happily come back again! In terms of location, the neighbourhood is very calm and safe and you feel like you are in the real Sweden as there are no tourists. The supermarket and local shops and cafes are a 10 min stroll away. The access to the centre of Stockholm is straightforward via bus and underground within about 30 mins door to door, depending on the time of the day. We went there every day and used the SL Stockholm transport app to buy group tickets.

What a House! Amazing views and very spacious house. A lot of taste, feels luxuous and calm. The gym room and pool are a big plus, and it’s very pleasant to cook in The kitchen. Andrea was very reactive and friendly! We really recommend this place !

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in Johans Haus - die beiden Terrassen sind wunderbar und nach hinten raus gibt es eine traumhafte Aussicht. Im Haus gibt es viel Platz und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Eine Bushaltestelle mit Busverbindung nach Stockholm ca. alle 10 Minuten ist um die Ecke und auch Geschäfte auf Vaxholm sind gut erreichbar. Johan hat schnell und freundlich auf jede unserer Fragen reagiert und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank, dass wir unseren Urlaub in Deinem Haus verbringen durften!

Spotless, gorgeous home in a wonderful family neighborhood. Felt very safe, beautiful surroundings, parks, lakes, hiking,biking trails all around. Easy commute to the center of Stockholm. Close to bus, boat and subway. Would love to visit again.

Vi leide huset til Filip&Co for andre året på rad, vi var veldig fornøyde i fjor og like fornøyde i år! Huset ligger fint inntil et skogholt, rolig gate, gode turmuligheter og kort vei til offentlig kommunikasjon. Vi brukte ca. 30 minutter inn til Stockholm sentrum når vi tok trikk + T-bane, og det er raskt synes vi. Jeg syklet inn til sentrum på 40 minutter med el-sykkel, og det er en kjempefin tur! Huset er veldig praktisk, med fire soverom, to stuer, to bad m/wc og et veldig fint og praktisk kjøkken. I tillegg er det egen parkering utenfor huset, det har vi satt stor pris på, da vi kommer kjørende med egen bil fra Oslo. Et pluss i år var den fine plattingen som var laget ved inngangspartiet! Så vi kan anbefale huset på det varmeste! Takk for en fin opplevelse igjen!

Wir (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) waren für 2 Wochen in Fredriks und Pernillas Haus. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und bietet Parkplätze auch für 2 Pkw. Die Unterkunft bietet 2 Außenbereiche, prima geeignet zum Essen , Spielen oder zum genießen der Aussicht. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von unserem Gastgebern sehr gut betreut. Da das Haus auch als Wohnhaus unserer Gastgeber dient (die während unserer Anwesenheit auf Reisen waren) ist das Haus perfekt ausgestattet, inkl. Gasgrill, Sonos, Waschmaschine, etc. Es sind 5 Gehminuten zur nächsten Badestelle, die wir sehr oft für uns alleine hatten. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und die nächste Bushaltestelle sind 10 Gehminuten entfernt, Busse fahren regelmäßig um z.B. innerhalb einer Stunde in Stockholms Innenstadt zu sein. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei, um weitere Badestellen und Vaxholm zu erkunden. Hinter uns liegt ein wunderschöner, abwechslungsreicher Urlaub. Vielen Dank Euch beiden wir kommen gern wieder!

My family group of eight adults had a wonderful time at Christofer and Erika’s beautiful home. The location is unique with stunning views. The main house and separate guesthouses are tastefully decorated and in keeping with the style of the building. There are a number of well furnished outdoor spaces which really add to the charm. The house is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. It is simply a beautiful home away from home with the added bonus of the water-side wood fired sauna . Access to Stockholm city is straightforward from one of three ferry stops on the island and you can be in the city centre in less than an hour. Christofer and Erika are very responsive hosts, nothing was too much trouble and provided us with a really memorable holiday. It was a 5⭐️experience and would highly recommend.

Patrik’s home is in a beautiful location, peaceful, away from the crowds, accessible for Stockholm and so many gorgeous islands. We loved our holiday and the house is stylish, comfortable and a joy in every way. Patrik and Malin were so kind and helpful. They told us where to swim, the best islands to visit and where to eat delicious Swedish food. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make our stay in Sweden so special and memorable!!

Ubytování odpovídá popisu, je to krásný velký prostor, vybavený, venkovní sezení. V domě bylo teplo. Na autobus kousek, krásné okolí k procházkám. Měli jsme vše, co bylo potřeba, určitě doporučuji.

Dieses Haus (eigentlich sind es zwei Häuser, ein wunderschönes zusätzliches Gästehaus auf dem Grundstück) ist einfach toll gelegen und sehr gemütlich. Es war sehr sauber und man merkt, dass die Besitzer normalerweise hier leben, denn es ist mit allem ausgestattet und es fehlt nichts, auch nicht auf der großen Aussenterrasse. Es ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Es ist Maria sehr wichtig, das alles perfekt ist und sie ist stets erreichbar und liebenswert freundlich. Wir hätten uns kein besseres Haus in der Nähe von Stockholm wünschen können und würden jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Our family of of 5 had a great stay at the house! It was super clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was great. We could easily walk to a grocery store and a great playground at the school down the street. It was a quick drive to downtown Vaxholm. My kids spent a lot of time on the trampoline. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the house!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei Pauline! Man wohnt in ihrem eigenen, sehr schönen Haus mit wundervoller Veranda. Die Kinder hatten viel Spass auf dem Trampolin. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, aber es ist hilfreich mit dem Auto zu kommen, dann kann man schöne Ausflüge nach Stockholm und in die Schären machen.

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf op het het mooie Resarö. Uitermate rustig eiland. Het huis was ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Badkamer en toiletten keurig schoon en modern. Keuken was prima. Het terras bied een prachtig uitzicht op het water. Helaas waren er geen normale matrassen en daar moesten we erg aan wennen. Wat ons betreft het enige punt waar verbetering mogelijk is. Erg genoten van ons verblijf.

We just spent a fabulous stay at Robin’s place. The main house is so nicely and personally decorated. The sauna and relax places are so well located by the sea. We really enjoyed this paradise in the Swedish archipelago! We will come back for sure!

Ein traumhaftes Haus, dass es durch die Nebengebäude auch möglich macht, bei mehreren Gästen die eigene Privatsphäre zu finden. Wunderschön und ruhig gelegen, mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. In einer wunderbaren landschaftlichen Kulisse, die einem jeden Morgen beim Kaffee einlädt den Gedanken nachzuhängen. Die hochwertige Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen, abgerundet mit einer Fülle an angebotenen Gebrauchsmaterialen. Eine besondere Erwähnung gilt den hochwertigen Sportgeräten, wie den SUP‘s und der Tischtennis Platte. Genial!

Vänlig och bra värd. Svarade väldigt snabbt på alla frågor och gav tydliga instruktioner. Hemtrevligt, städat och välutrustat. Fantastiskt fina omgivningar för promenader. Bra kommunikationer och nära till affärer och restauranger. Smidigt att ta sig till centrala Stockholm.

We had a wonderful stay in Lidingö, the house was lovely and felt like a 2nd home. The home was easy to access and everything as described and like pictures. Before arriving we recieved a great list about the house, the neighborhood, things to do, eat and see both on the island and in Stockholm. Breviksbadet and Elfviksbadet were our favorite activities with kids during our stay on hot summer days, highly recommend those places.
