Stay in a beautiful, renovated house right on the edge of Lake Åsnen in close proximity to the national park. The house has its own jetty and fishing rights as well as a fireplace, a large terrace with a Jacuzzi and is surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely lake views. There are 4 separate bedrooms with room for a total of 6 people, large kitchen and open social areas. We include sheets and other amenities as well as access to bicycles, two canoes and barbecue in the rent. There is also the possibility to rent a boat.

Welcome to Åkhult and our small house located on our farm, 18 meters from our residential house. When you look out the window or door, you see Lake Fiolen. This lake is a spring lake with very clear water. Here you can both swim and fish. Around the lake, there is a small road of eight kilometers. Here, there are many who walk, run or cycle. Stay centrally in our small cozy courtyard house with free parking outside. Here's everything you need. It is perfect for two people, but if you have a small child, it can also work. There is a double bed, dining table, sofa corner and tiled bathroom. You have your own small patio. Växjö is well located with just over an hour by car to Öland, Halmstad, Karlskrona and Jönköping. Astrid Lindgren's world and High Chaparral are also a little over an hour away. Växjö has a nice city center.

Lake House at Skälsnäs Mansion in Småland

On a peninsula of the famous Lake Helga in Småland, with a rich fish population, forests and an abundance of animals, we rent out a lake house directly on the lake. Horses and sheep graze on the property, which was once owned by Gustav Wasa. Dogs (max. 2) are welcome, at a cost of € 12 per dog/night. A boat (4.5 hp motor) can be hired for €50/day including fuel. You can also rent our ‘Guesthouse’ (see there) and ‘Brygghus’ (see there), both with lake view.
