Waterfront holiday rentals in Velddrif

Erna's listing of Heron's Place is an absolute must to try. Our stay was just too short. We arranged a boat cruise on the river and because of the private jetty, they were able to pick us up at our doorstep and drop us off there again. The area is beautifully quiet and on the river. I would recommend it.

Awesome little apartment in Port Owen Marina area. This river front apartment is just over an hours drive from Cape Town and perfect for relaxing weekend get aways.

Absolut empfehlenswert – ein perfekter Aufenthalt in Langebaan! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft und können sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Die Gastgeberin Linette ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, und Vusi ist immer vor Ort, falls man Hilfe benötigt – ein wirklich tolles Team! Das Haus liegt fast direkt am kleinen privaten Strand, in einer ruhigen und sicheren Nachbarschaft. Die Lage ist ideal: Man kann schnell mit dem Auto überall hinkommen, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, gemütlich und bietet genug Platz für eine kleine Familie. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub in Langebaan sucht. Vielen Dank, Linette und Vusi, für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Great view of the boats from the balcony, very tidy and luxurious apartment. Check-in was straight forward and Susan was very responsive and nice. One consideration is that the production of dried fish, bokkom, might smell sometimes if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

Absolutely great place, so central, really relaxing, had a Braai on the patio the first night. I had a seminar at the Skate Park on Saturday morning. Very homely place, I will highly recommend it.

Wir haben uns bei Sharon sehr sehr wohlgefühlt, vor allem die direkte Nähe zum Meer war für und besonders, das Rauschen des Meers zu hören, morgens die große Tür zu öffnen und damit auf unserer Terrasse direkt in der Natur zu sein…wir würden Sharon’s Apartment immer wieder buchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

We loved staying in this beautiful studio - it had all amenities and is very close to the beach. Definitely recommended!

We stayed for two nights but honestly wished we stayed for more, the place is stunningly beautiful, it really felt like a home away from home albeit within walking distance from the beach, quite literally a few steps over a dune. It was comfortable, modern and spacious! The area around is breathtaking and we even managed to see a few dolphins frolicking nearby! We will definitely come here again!

De locatie van het verblijf is super, je loopt vanuit de tuin zo het strand op. Daarnaast zijn alle winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. De communicatie met Alison is ook erg prettig. Langebaan en de woning van Alison hebben ons positief verrast en we komen zeker terug.

Great stay right on the beach. Beautiful house and well kitted out with everything you would need.

Fantastic home, location and surroundings. Catherine is a super helpful and friendly host. I have to say the images are beautiful but the home is soo much better in person! Loved it

The location was wonderful and being dog friendly was a huge bonus and the reason we chose Kathy’s house . Our only comment is that the bathrooms and kitchen need a bit of an upgrade ie in bedroom 2 the shelf is so high you can’t use it. I had to store my toiletries on the floor ( no small bench or vanity top). We are slightly biased as we own a kitchen and furniture design company so probably hard to please 😊 A few towel hooks outside would be great The hot tub was a winner and we absolutely loved it and used if each day.

This is magnificent beach house - the house is super comfortable and clean and invite’s you to relax and make yourself at home from the start. The meet and greet was warm and welcoming and easy. What’s really incredible is the level to which the kitchen is equipped, designed and put together - so unbelievably well - puts my own home kitchen to shame 🙂 we were a group of 4 adults - we each had a bed room and a bathroom and we’re very happy and comfy. To top it all the week had the most fab warm weather and the holiday will always hold very special memories for us of a fun fam vacay which gets 10/10 from us.

Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corene’s place. The house is neat, spacious and has the most amazing views. We particularly enjoyed the patio overlooking the sea. Will definitely visit this property again!
