Barn accommodation in Vendee

We’ve had a fantastic week at this lovely, really homely AirBnB and would definitely return here. Having use of the big (shared) pool was brilliant fun for our kids (age 11 & 14), and the swings under the shade of the tree and ping pong table were great too. Plenty of space for a family, and Gwen the host speaks English and was really helpful. The peach jam & apple juice left out for us on arrival were delicious. This Airbnb is in a little village amongst pretty farmland. Fontenay Le Comte was close by for supermarkets, and one day we walked from the AirBnB to a little local bar in Montreuil. We chose this location because we could do a day trip to Puy de Fou and also to Futuroscope (both about an hour different directions, and great theme parks!). Locally we drove ten mins to Maillezais & hired an open canoe on the canals (green Venice!) and there’s a lovely abbey with a restaurant & shop there too.

House faithful to the description, spacious, quiet, the most beautiful pool.. near puy du fou Marie, always available, very responsive. I recommend 👍👍

Beautiful accommodation 30 minutes from Puy du Fou. Perfect for spending a weekend with the family, in peace, in the countryside while being close to the necessities (village 5 minutes by car). The accommodation is beautiful, large, with well thought-out spaces. The hosts are very welcoming. I would recommned this property.

Very nice cottage, very clean, very quiet, in a small hamlet surrounded by nature. Located 3 minutes from shops. Very good welcome by Bernard the owner who lives right next to the cottage. Address to keep in mind.

Great vacation behind us! Very beautiful and nicely furnished house. The child-friendly swimming pool, the play barn with billiards and table tennis, the large living room with long tables, the rooms with bath and rain shower (including in the children's room),... everything was great! We were 10 (6 adults and 4 children). We would love to come back! Bart

Everything is in place for an idyllic stay at Francis and Patrick's. The accommodation is beautiful, very well decorated and equipped. Special mention for bedding! Thanks to Patrick's support, we were able to venture out by boat and discover the Poitevin marsh. A haven of peace, a delightful blend of nature and enchantment. We 100% recommend it for nature lovers looking to disconnect!

The surrounding calm, the bucolic landscapes and the birdsong every morning made this getaway a truly enchanting break. The house is tastefully decorated, very clean and perfectly equipped – you feel at home from the first minutes. We had a great time at F***y and Billy's! Their warm welcome, availability and impeccable accommodation, with everything we needed, far exceeded our expectations. Ideal location for visiting Puy du Fou. We highly recommend their accommodation and will be happy to come back.

The guest house of Mélaine and her husband is a real little haven of peace: a huge indoor/outdoor pool depending on the weather, the bedroom and bathroom are large, beautiful, carefully decorated, the setting is peaceful and quiet (while being close to small towns with restaurants, activities etc, and about thirty minutes from the beaches by car). You will not find better hospitality than that of Mélaine, who in addition to being the nicest, will always be attentive to her guests, available and responsive. And the breakfast… very generous, excellent with local products, a delight in the morning in the sun in peace. Many thanks for these few days at Mélaine's <3

we had a lovely stay. The accommodation was very much as described. the environment is peaceful and Basile was available and very welcoming.

Marc's accommodation is a restaurant model, it is impeccable, convenient, we were 3 couples and the accommodation gives everyone their privacy. The equipment of the property is more than good +++++ + we would like to find identical accommodations when we book in other areas. A little plus the cake on arrival and Marc's welcome. Unfortunately the weather was not with us but we can't do much about it. To be done again if we return to this area. Thank you very much

Very nice family stay in this beautiful barn! The site is very quiet. The house is quite exceptional and very original. Everything is of high quality and beautifully crafted! The enclosed garden with the swimming pool, the small play area for young children is an undeniable asset. We'll keep this address!! Thanks

Pleasant Easter weekend in this lovely home . We felt at home. Beautiful landscaped grounds that must definitely be lovely in the summer. Unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of this with this short stay. The photos are really the same as you did. Saint Benoist is a very nice little village. Janie is very responsive to messages and very pleasant. I do advise on this rental.
