The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

After renovating the castle of Candeze dating from 1480, located in one of the most beautiful villages in France, we rehabilitated the lower part of the castle, to make it an apartment of 100 m2 with private access on one of the most beautiful streets of this medieval village. Calm,rest,freshness awaits you at the interior or ancient paving, stone vault,old doors, antique furniture create the decor. Spacious apartment with a large family room. The cottage, "Le Joyeux Liseron", is a cozy maisonette with terrace on stilts plus a nature area with beautiful views of the hills and private Nordic bath. Independent, it is at the back of the property, facing nature. Boulodrome with free access. An ideal gîte for a relaxing/nature stay. Located halfway between Lautrec and Vénès, you will find various amenities nearby: grocery store, post office, tobacco shop, bar, restaurant, etc... supermarket (9 km). The nearest airport, Castres-Mazamet, is 28 km (25 min) away. You can also walk or cycle on our various hiking trails. Including the hiking trail located just 50 m from the cottage.
