Cottage holiday rentals in Venta Fresnedo

Host and their family went out of their way to assist us. Together we looked through our trip itinerary and made additional suggestions where appropriate. They helped us when we broke down with a flat tire communicating with the rental car company to get us a new rental and tow truck. Our last day we thought we had left some items at the rental after we had checked out and they went back to open the house up to allow us to get back inside and find our items. Very friendly. The house was great and overlooks a valley with the towns below. We were visited by cows and sheep and all the snails and slugs natural to the area. After hiking, biking, and visiting the surrounding towns it was a nice relaxing spot to come back to. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommended. We spent two nights, a group of 8 friends. The house is beautiful, spacious, cozy, tastefully decorated, has all the details. We were very pleased, and looking forward to repeating.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Beautiful little house at the foothills of the Picos de Europa, in a very quiet hamlet. Neat, tidy, picturesque, with all the necessary amenities. Very close to the Bulnes funicular and trails. Be mindful of the narrow streets and ways and limited parking. Everyone in our party was similarly pleased. Juanjo was very helpful.

Wonderful stay in beautiful nature.

We're so glad we spent those days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for roommate with these two wouhs wouhs and these 4 ducks 😍

Ideal accommodation for a few days of disconnection. As you can see in the photos, everything is impeccable and the surroundings are wonderful. Patricia has been very attentive and kind. And... The bath in the jacuzzi is a must, spectacular! In addition, it is perfect for going with a pet. We will repeat!

We had a great weekend. It is an ideal house for large groups, very comfortable. The area offers many activities: hiking, visits...and the spa in the house is great to relax after a busy day. Great!

one of the most beautiful towns and areas we have ever visited. Beautiful well appointed accomodation. modern and tastefully decorated with lots of extra touches. This is an interesting and peaceful place. we loved it! The cows downstairs were quant, but the farmer a bit noisy with music. the surrounding mountains and landscape is prescribe and awe inspiring. This is the place to go if you want to get away from the crowds and bustle. The town is impeccable and the rustic houses beautiful.

A beautiful house in the mountains, the place is surrounded by nature, it is wonderful to disconnect and be calm. The house has everything: for cooking, for watching TV, for showering and bathing, for breakfast outside with stunning mountain views, heating and hot water that works very well. Elena was very kind from the first moment and explained everything we needed. To repeat, without a doubt.

We spent a wonderful week at Arturo’s place. It’ quiet, clean and in a very beautiful landscape. The road to get there is steep but we made it.

The house is spectacular, it has everything you need for a perfect vacation. It's comfortable, clean, and an amazing location. Javier was wonderful, always attentive to us being well. We recommend this house 100% and will certainly repeat!

We had a really good time at Marta's place! It is a beautiful place and very well connected. Marta is very kind and has a very nice house with everything you need to spend a few days very well. The outdoor area is perfect. The garden is beautiful and the barbecue area is very cozy. Our little dog has enjoyed it a lot too!

Very nice place for place with amazing views

Charo and Marcos are super friendly hosts! Charo was waiting for us and had baked a delicious tortilla and cheesecake. The dining table was full of all kinds of delicacies! It was cool outside and the heating was already on for us. It is a wonderful house in a small village close to the highway and Santander. We enjoyed it and would love to come back!

This was a lovely stay, tucked away from the usual tourist path. Most importantly, we absolutely loved the hosts. They welcomed us with a pour of cider they brewed themselves in their shed, and it truly felt like coming home to your Spanish aunt and uncle’s house. The accommodations were great — a clean, well-kept space with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. There’s free parking right next to the house, which made things easy. Heads up: the drive there can be a little confusing. You’ll probably feel like the GPS is taking you the wrong way, but just trust it and keep going. The road winds up a mountain to a tiny village at the top, and it’s worth the trek. The only real downside was that there weren’t any restaurants within walking distance. But it was a short drive to nearby towns with great food options. This is a perfect spot if you want to get off the beaten path and experience a more local, authentic side of Spain.

Everything was great. Communication with Daniel and Claudia was perfect. The house is amazing. Everything is pristine. The views are incredible. We really enjoyed it.

Mayte has been attentive at all times to make our stay a pleasant time. Communication has been straightforward from the start. Maybe we lacked some detail like garbage bags, but we didn't say it either, so that was more of our thing, since Mayte responded 10 to everything we communicated and asked in a very correct and quick way. The house is very nice, recently renovated, well equipped and clean. I recommend Mayte as a host and her home as a very good option to spend a few days in the eastern area of Asturias. Very quiet and very close to Picos de Europa, beaches, places of tourist and natural interest, and cities such as Llanes and Ribadesella a few minutes away. If I had to go back in the area I would repeat.

Our stay at Javier's place was great. The house is very complete and comfortable. In addition, the site is surrounded by nature offering a lot of privacy to enjoy a few days with family. The owners are very friendly and have done everything to make us enjoy our stay to the fullest. Highly recommended!

It was a great stay, the house with everything you need and super cozy. Very quiet area to enjoy nature, in a spectacular and focused environment to visit any point of Cantabria. Israel was very friendly, she gave us places to go and eat. I tip the towel and blanket for our little dog. Thank you for everything, luxury vacation!

Absolutely great value for money!! The house is impressive with a lot of space and luxurious furniture and a nice garden.

We loved our stay at David's place. Fantastic location. 20 mins walk to Capricho De Gaudi (Fantastic place, don't miss), and a few minutes further walk to Comillas. Supermarket nearby too. The home itself is warm and comfortable with a sunny outdoor area with table/chairs and lounges. David is lovely and so helpful. Just something to be aware of is that the 2nd bedroom is upstairs and stairs are steep and narrow, so may not suit everyone. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
