Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Verfeuil

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A very responsive host who was easy to work with. The location is excellent for anyone who has a vehicle. Parking is included!

We chose this accommodation to rest and enjoy the activities and walks around and we were fully satisfied with our stay. The accommodation is very clean, well-equipped, with everything you need. Kristel welcomed us very well, at the time that suited us. If the opportunity arises, we will not hesitate to return to this accommodation.

Frédérique listened to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the region, offering all comforts. The pool, pleasant, for cooling off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing vacation, thanks to the wonderful garden.

Lena & Jean-Claude were fabulous hosts, very helpful & friendly but also discreet. The cottage is super, well equipped & very comfortable - the pictures do not do it justice! A/C in the bedroom was much appreciated! We loved the pool area & outdoor kitchen, & enjoyed barbecuing on the plancha. St Victor la Coste is an unspoilt, un-touristy Provencal village with a good bar/restaurant & boulangerie and great views from the ruined castle a 20min steep walk away. Easy journeys into Avignon, Arles, Uzes & to Pont du Gard. We loved our week in this beautiful cottage & hope to return. Merci Beaucoup Lena & Jean-Claude!

Accommodation located in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Host of great kindness and very attentive to our 2-year-old daughter! Marie is always available but very discreet. Forests and playground nearby. Accommodation not far from the Cévennes and Ardèche for mountain hikes.

I can recommend this accommodation to everyone. I had a quiet and relaxing rest there. The pool was the highlight. The surrounding area is also very beautiful. I'll definitely be back The hosts are very nice and always available😊

Personally I needed an accommodation to go and see from the family what I had explained to Adrien . I also drunk because the area is very beautiful. so perfect for me. the accommodation being in the c of the house I felt that I was not alone but not at all caring because large house. I specify it because I usually prefer to be in independent accommodation..but there it was the same.. I was not looking for the exchange. very nice accommodation . address that I remember to come back maybe.. if Adrien is ok!

The ideal stay for moments of relaxation in a peaceful setting. Hosts are available at any time for anything. Very warm and caring, Bernard is a good source of advice for finding the best places to go for a walk. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, which are very well maintained on a daily basis. And our dog had a great time frolicking in the garden, which was safe for him! We will be happy to come back to unwind from everyday life! Thanks to Bernard and Chantal for hosting.

Vanessa was a wonderful host. Her instructions for finding the apartment were very clear. She also shared a list of great restaurant recommendations in the area. The apartment couldn’t be in a better location. 2 minutes away is Le Palais des papes, yet the apartment is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The space is excellent: modern conveniences with all of the history and charm you’d expect from Avignon! Thank you for a great stay, Vanessa.

Everything was perfect. Parking a rental car nearby was also an absolute plus. We had a great time!

It’s our second time staying here so we were much better at finding the parking. The place has a brilliant design- good mix of new and old. Of course we’ll return.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here as a family of five for a week. An amazing apartment which looks exactly the same as in the photos. Amaury was a fabulous host who was super quick to respond and help. The location is fabulous with a great view of the Arènes. The stand out star of this apartment, is the terrace. Fabulous in the morning for a relaxing coffee and equally good for evening cocktails! A couple of points to note is that there is one toilet and that the only shower is accessed through one of the bedrooms. There is however a lovely bath in the other bathroom. We would highly recommend this place!

The apartment is very close to city centres , walkable distance to amphitheater all the ancient attractions . The apartment has everything you need washing machine , ironing board tv with Netflix. The entrance to the carpark is a bit narrow , you need to be careful if you’re driving a big car , Thierry is very helpful with guiding us to park our car

El’s place was so lovely—full of character and comfort. Walkable from the train and incredible restaurants and cafes. El was so kind and flexible. Would love to stay again!

A piece of paradise in the middle of the vineyards. Véronique and Pascal are charming and very discreet. We were able to discuss their passion and their art with them. They are fascinating. Our accommodation was perfect, just like the description. The ceilings are low upstairs but as indicated in the description, no surprise. Perfect bedding and a very nice soothing decoration. I highly recommend it. We'll be back, I think.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The area was peaceful and well located. Thomas was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. An excellent stay!

Come without so much as a second thought! Michelle is really nice and welcoming. The apartment is very well laid out, and perfectly maintained, equipped, and comfortable. You can walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Really nothing to repeat. I will be back as soon as I can.

This (too short) stay filled us with happiness. We were first very pleasantly surprised by the attentive and warm welcome from Marie, then won over by the comfort of the apartment and the garden (with pool). We were very satisfied - less than 5 minutes' walk to the Place d'Herbes. Everything is clean, tasteful and functional. I'd come back anytime, price ok compared to other accommodations.
