Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Vermilion Parish

Great place. We were looking forward to a great get-a-way (with neighbors we knew) and it was GREAT!!!! The men had a boat, went to the Lake, fished, crabbed and enjoyed the area. The house was comfortable and well done. We had the neighbors over for lunch on Monday and he supplied us with additional crabs Monday night. Would not hesitate to go back next year, God willing. I'm extremely grateful for people like Jeremy and Stephanie for allowing others to share their beautiful homes.

Great place to stay, the house was very clean, with great smells throughout. Bedding was comfortable. The pool was perfect, large yard the front porch was relaxing and serene and the host was very responsive. Will definitely book this property again next time we are in the area.

Walking through the door of this house after being utterly exhausted from travel was the most relieving and comforting feeling. Southern hospitality is alive and well here! The entire house was perfectly appointed. The beds were all comfy, but the master bed was so darn nice, that it was better than my bed at home! The fire pit was a magical memory for the kids. (Fireflies were even with us!) The backyard vibes are peaceful and private. The host (Monty) is so sweet and caring. I like to try new places, but next time we are in town we will probably return here because this is a rental that feel likes home and is everything my family needs. Thanks for hosting us with such a welcoming heart!

I love how the host response to all of my messages on what I wanted and needed inside the home. House is clean and very beautiful back view. Kids and I went fishing and while the kids fish I was relaxing on the hammock . Loved it. Will be back again.

Excellent stay. I travel parts of the country each Spring & Summer putting on demo events in the motorcycle industry for major manufacturers and was in Lafayette for work—this was a great stay outside of the city. Very peaceful and great charm. Massive driveway accommodated my pickup & 28’ trailer. The large trees provided great seclusion from the street. I needed to extend my stay early on as I accidentally booked the incorrect dates and the host was very responsive. She checked in often as well to make sure everything was good. This was one of my favorite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was as described, if not better. Highly recommend.

Nita's Rest is appropriately named. It is very relaxing and peaceful. We loved spending time on the screened-in patio for morning coffee and evening cocktails while listening to the birds and enjoying the view of the lake. We slept better than we had in a long time as the beds were very comfortable! And everything you need is there to cook up a good meal if you so desire! We'll definitely be back!

Great stay with a great price! We enjoyed the chickens and roosters running around the property. The home is sitting on a large piece of land so you don’t have to worry about your things getting broken into, if you’re there for work. Tip: make sure the front door screen is closed completely and keep the porch light off at night. That will help avoid bugs. Comfortable and secure place to rest. A/c also works really well and if you’re cold, there’s an electric fireplace that blows heat. Highly recommend.
