We had a delightful weekend retreat and Maxwell's. The house was quiet and felt secluded. The natural setting was pretty. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, beautiful Japanese Maple, and nearby hiking trails.

Great cabin, location was amazing and really matched the description. It rained pretty much the whole time, but the setting was so nice, we hardly cared. Hosts were responsive and had the place set up with welcoming music and towels folded like swans. Would love to return.

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

This place is amazingggg. Such a perfect experience. I’m so glad I came here. I love it so much I ended up saying two extra days. I wanna keep it all to myself. I don’t even wanna tell you guys about it. 😂 this place really is as perfect as it looks. The beds are so comfortable, the view is amazing. The sounds are amazing. Everything is high quality. Heated floor and seat in bathroom. It’s so peaceful and private. There’s a Japanese style hot tub in the backyard that overlooks the river. And string lights thru the back yard. I love it SO much. Everything here is so intentional. Jenny did an amazing job with this place. And Jenny is so chill and fun. I don’t wanna Airbnb anywhere else - this place has ruined it for all other places 😂

Great place to stay in the woods, easy to find, and a very welcoming environment. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in the area.

The cabin was great! Just what our group needed. Very clean and in a nice private location.

Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience! The place was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. As someone traveling with my dog, I especially appreciated how dog-friendly the property was — plenty of space, safe surroundings, and little touches that made it clear pets were welcome. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, answering any questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Stayed Memorial Day weekend and loved the property. The pictures don't do the gentle sound of the stream and forest behind the property any justice. Andrew was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. Great area for relaxing!

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful scenery. Lots to do on the property without even leaving the house. The house is fully stocked. If you accidentally leave anything behind.. this house will have it. Comfortable beds. The pool table and poker table was a lot of fun. The hottub was awesome. WiFi works great. I went in the river a few times but keep in mind the current is strong if you are not a good swimmer. I could have stayed even longer, I did not want to leave! Left feeling very refreshed as if I left the spa. This is a great house for a family or friend’s retreat. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone thinking about it. There are some shops 15mins away if you need anything. Chinese food, liquor store, convenience store etc

Peaceful and private! Situated on a dead end lane Patrick’s place had plenty to do outside - exploring the stream, near by waterfalls, local parks and attractions. Lake Superior State park and the Toronto Reservoir were great spots for swimming and exploring. The house itself was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all necessities. The yard provided a great space for pets and kids to play in addition to exploring the various seating areas and fire pits on the property. There were also many wildlife visitors from deer to fox. We will definitely consider staying again!

Four of us humans and two pups stayed at Morgan's cozy cabin 4 nights for the Memorial Day long weekend. the living, dining, and kitchen areas are spacious for us to cook and do videos games. The cabin is located in a quiet gated community, so there were few cars passing by. We needed to check in at the entrance every time to enter the community, so we feel very safe during our stay. Also, the cabin is about 13 minutes from a huge dog park. our pups got to enjoy running around off leash going there every morning. highly recommend.

This was our third stay at Dan & Barb's. The area is beautiful and peaceful - and our collies enjoy it too! Dan and Barb are great, proactive hosts. Will definitely be back!

Great little get away in the woods! Very cozy cabin and Deb was lovely!

If in your mind, you could imagine an ideal place to get away - a cozy and thoughtfully furnished house nestled in front of a pond, this would be that place. A long driveway takes you away from the main road and leads to a stylish and very comfortable home. Three bedrooms, 2 baths and an open kitchen made the house feel very roomy. Our daughter made an early claim to a small landing at the very top of the stairs, a perfect place to settle into a bean bag chair and matching ottoman and continue her adventures with Nancy Drew. Our stay was extremely guest friendly. There was nothing we felt want of that Jared and Chelsea hadn't provided. A pile of comfy blankets, a nice bottle of red wine and a movie screen and surround sound gifted us two fun movie nights. In fact, their attention to detail made the house feel unusually familiar to us. The daily view of the pond and its inhabitants; a trio of ducks, a pair of cranes, and an industrious beaver, gave the home an idyllic quality.

We had a relaxing stay here. The view was lovely and house was exactly as described. The hosts were very responsive too.

The cabin was a great little place to get away for the weekend! Matt was a communicative host and made sure all our needs was taken care of. The space was very clean and was perfectly setup. We especially loved sitying out by the creek and enjoying a few drinks. Also, there are great restaurants within walking distances!

Had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. It was supremely relaxing and a great way to disconnect and slow down. The house was beautiful, great amenities, scenic, and serene with views of trees all around. The best however was Greyson - before even been booking the house, we were sent a list of restaurants/activities/hiking trails in the area. Additionally, every message sent to the host received an immediate reply. The hosts have impeccable taste as you can see with the furnishings of the house. Highly recommend.

The Lakehouse was perfect for our toddler and baby. The easy access to a private beach was amazing - we loved being able to go in and out in between naps and having dinner on the deck next to the house looking out at the water. Our toddler loved all the toys in the house which was essential to keeping her entertained during the rainy day! There is also a little one way street outside the house and we enjoyed having family walks - overall this was such a fun trip for our family. Thank you for hosting Nathaniel and Brittany!

Lovely setting, comfortable beds environment, and all tools to enjoy outdoors , barbecue and fire-pit. The only downside was difficulty finding the property. Street not listed on GPS and not very visible, and wifi is not great until you arrive inside-.its also a dirt road. Very close to all venues, like Bethel woods and fine dining.

I absolutely loved this place! My family and I were looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot like this, and it was everything we hoped for. It’s such a beautiful place to enjoy with friends or loved ones. A big thank you to Vanessa — she was super sweet and helped us so much. Our stay at Emily’s lake place was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations! We were there for the week leading up to and including our son’s graduation from West Point, which is an hour from “the lake place,” as we affectionately called it. The West Point portion of our week was both wonderful and stress-filled with lots of travel back and forth between the two places, so the fact that the lake place was exactly as advertised was such a relief! The weather was cold and rainy for our entire week there, yet our stay in Emily’s cabin was peaceful, relaxing, and fun-filled. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided, including the spices for cooking! Our beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The bathrooms were spotless, as was every room. The views of the lake were truly spectacular!! As we were packing up to leave, my daughter said, “they thought of EVERYTHING!” And she was right. If we ever stay in the area again, we will definitely book Emily’s place!
