Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Versailles

We are a group that loves to travel and dress in costumes related to the places we visit. Valerie's place was fantastic and proved a great location for our adventure. The space was well maintained and very comfortable.

What a beautiful house in the country! Plenty of space, gorgeous backyard with lots to do & a convenient patio for dining al fresco. Nicholas was super helpful, responsive & a valuable resource. 15 min from Versailles & a quiant little village with friendly people, a beautiful church, and all the necessary shops within walking distance. Lots of hills in town & lots of stairs in the house so if you have health restrictions, 4 floors of living space & outside stairs might be challenging. If not, go for it. It's an absolute paradise in the country, perfect for relaxing, for hosting and for exploring a more leisurely pace of life. Thank you so very much, Nicholas, for letting us stay at your beautiful place. We absolutely loved it!!!

Absolutely loved our stay in Versailles! The apartment is compact but beautifully finished and spotlessly clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and cozy dining area. There’s a lovely seating area out back and all appliances worked perfectly. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and proactive, even offering early check-in. The welcome guide (in both French and English) was super helpful. Great location near the Château with a grocery store nearby. This was our favorite Airbnb in France—comfortable, well-run, and five stars all the way!

Small, fine 1-room apartment in Versailles. Beautifully and functionally furnished. Upon entering the room, you are greeted by a pleasant scent, which makes the arrival easy. The apartment is ideally located to explore the castle and the surroundings. There are many restaurants and bakeries just around the corner. You can quickly reach the train station on foot and have a very good connection to Paris. We would rent the apartment again anytime.

We loved staying here. Easy to get to both Versailles and Paris and was really nice to stay out of the city. Loads of nice restaurants and bars about for the evening- thank you for a lovely stay! :)

The apartment is located in the St. Louis neighborhood of Versailles. It only takes five minutes to the palace. The apartment is located on the top floor of an old building and is newly renovated. Everything is very clean and works well. For me it was perfect, only be aware that it is under the roof. Two meter tall people might need a bit more space ;) The communication with Melodie was very easy and she replied very fast.

It was a great stay! Perfect for a weekend, about a twenty-minute walk from the castle!

We stayed here for three nights. It is a great location, close to restaurants and shops as well as about a 15 min walk to the Château de Versailles. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. There is no fan, but you can leave the windows open. Also, there was already detergent there so we were able to use the washing machine before we left and let it dry on the rack in the sun.

Very nice quiet apartment with bedroom on the garden side. Perfect for staying multiple days. Train station nearby, market, shops … to be repeated! Really nice.

I had the most wonderful stay in Versailles, and it was made even more special thanks to Damian and Camille. Their kindness and generosity were above and beyond—from offering thoughtful local tips to giving me a ride to Versailles (a true gift, especially as I was in full ball gown!). The apartment itself was lovely, with a perfect location overlooking the market and just steps from a fantastic bakery and solid coffee. That said, starting my day with coffee in the apartment, watching the city come to life, was one of my favorite rituals. I felt truly at home here. Damian and Camille are exceptional hosts—attentive, warm, and full of charm. I’m so grateful for this experience and would absolutely stay again.

My son and I were in town for two days to visit Versailles, and the convenience to the chateau was bar none. We were able to get on the bus and the N line with no trouble, and neither was crowded or had long wait times. The neighborhood has a lot of shops, and a cute farmers market on Saturday, which was fun to explore. The apartment was very clean, with wonderful air flow, so even though it was hot, we managed to stay cool. It was also VERY quiet, and had a lovely balcony that was so peaceful (we had breakfast there both mornings!) Overall, this place was a wonderful value for the convenience-if you’re planning a little Versailles getaway from the city, I definitely recommend staying here!
