Vestersand is right between the small towns of Svolvær and Leknes. About half an hour drive each way. Vestersand is only 10 minutes away from the E6, but at the same time sheltered from the tourist pressure in Lofoten. Welcome to our gem right in the middle of Lofoten.

This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Perfect location for you who want to explore Lofoten both in the east and west. The place has a large property with its own sandy beach. Located mid. between two larger settlements, Svolvær (45min) and Leknes (25min). Short way to great hiking trips, surfing, Rib-trips. Followed by beautiful midnight sun on your own lawn. In winter, there are also great opportunities for skiing in slopes or summit hikes. The hot tub can also be used by appointment. If you have any questions just get in touch :)

This place is too good to be true! So peaceful, so beautiful view, so close to the elements! The area is one of the hidden gems in Lofoten for you that wants to live central but still in a silent environment. The cabin is one of the oldest in the village but renovated. Still it has the low ceiling and steep stairs we had in our old culture. There is four rooms with beds. One of them are on the main floor and has two single beds, rest is upstairs. Almost anything you need is precent!

Newly built cabin with a high standard and its own shoreline located in the middle between Henningsvær and Svolvær in Lofoten. The cottage is secluded located without neighbours. Walking distance to mountains and beach. Good opportunities for fishing for sea trout right outside the living room door. Cross country slope 100m from the cottage. Sun from early morning to late evening. The perfect starting point for an active and relaxing Lofoten holiday!

Villa Lofoten - The Steamery

It is difficult to capture just how cozy this space is. Though the photos are wonderful, they can’t fully do justice to the history and innumerable thoughtful details that went into its design. The space set aside for sitting and relaxing is comfortable, the sleeping space is quiet and dark, and if you’re lucky you’ll get to experience the full complement of sun, wind, and rain outside while you enjoy your time in this home and its dramatic setting. We spent the better part of a week using the Steamery as a home base to explore the Lofoten islands, and could not have asked for a more peaceful location or a more gracious host. When our ferry to the islands was cancelled at the last minute, and we showed up late after a long driving detour, our host was waiting for us at the door, despite the late hour. Key in hand, she greeted us as if we were old friends reunited. We couldn’t have been happier with our time here, and would happily return at any point.

This was our first time in Lofoten. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have spent more time in the chairs, looking out the windows, but unfortunately had too much to do. We did tons of driving, but it was a great location for us.

The Frida House - in the middle of Lofoten

We had the most amazing time staying at The Fridda House. The property is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean and I think the bed maybe one of the comfiest we have stayed in. The views from the house were stunning with each window offering a better view than the one before and the location was perfect and we were able to explore Lofoten easily from there. Our hosts couldn't have been better and absolutely made our trip for us - they sure know how to go above and beyond! They helped us make the most of our time with the best recommendations. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived and we are already planning our trip back. If you are looking to visit Lofoten then this is the place to stay.
