We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

It was a great stay in Le petite maison. Beautiful nature, beautiful swimming pool and a huge garden. Really enjoy; here you can completely relax.

We loved staying at Aulde’s place, the house was easy to live in, the garden was just wonderful with lots of equipment (table tennis, slackline, toys for all ages) and the heated swimming pool and the barbecue of course. Aulde was a very responsive, helpful and nice host, she made our check-out and check-out smooth and straightforward. Location-wise, I highly recommend this place as it is perfect to visit castles from the Loire Valley (Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, etc.) as well as historical towns (Blois), you find really good restaurants and Loire wine shops in the area, finally all shops you need are nearby. We all spent great holidays there and would definitely go again, so I can’t recommend it enough. 😊

Very nice accommodation, well-equipped with a nice heated pool. Communication with Philippe is fast and efficient. I recommend it.

Frederic is an amazing host and goes above and beyond the normal host responsibilities. He attended to all our needs, questions, and curiosities. His property is something quite special!

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

This is our second stay at Solange’s beautiful, peaceful and charming property, which is perfectly located for exploring the Loire Valley. This quintessentially French property was perfect for us in every way! The kind of property we normally pass and remark on as to how lovely it looks….and it’s just as perfect on the inside too. The bed is comfy. The lounge is interesting with its unique wood burning stove and the kitchen full of interesting crockery, plus all the essentials to cook a great meal including a new Smeg oven! The shower is fabulous and it’s always lovely to find that the host has supplied a good supply of towels, loo rolls etc too! The outdoor space is really pretty and a lovely place to sip a glass of local wine. There was even a small car port for soft top car to retreat under when we had a rain shower. Thank you for your hospitality Solange and we look forward to a return visit soon.

I stayed at Valérie's sweet cottage for 4 days in June, and everything was perfect. The setting is so lovely - it was truly hard to leave. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime soon. Thank you!

Very pleasant stay in a great spacious mobile home, pleasant, comfortable, well located. Moreover, in a beautiful region. We will come back without problem and for longer.

We had a great stay in Déborah's beautiful cottage, perfectly equipped. It is particularly well located to discover some of the beautiful castles of the Loire as well as the city of Blois. The environment is very quiet, we highly recommend this place.

Wow. Words cannot describe the experience of staying at Catherine’s place. It is an oasis, a retreat, a truly magical experience. The house itself is incredible, with such care put into every detail. The gardens and outdoor space is a true highlight. The photos do not do it justice. There are incredible flowers, herbs, vegetables. The river is just a walk down the hill and beautiful to sit by any time of the day. You wake up and go to sleep to the sound of the river and the birds. We cancelled almost all our plans upon arrival to spend as much time as possible at the cottage. We went to an incredible farm 5 minutes away to get local produce, meat, and cheese which we used to make all our meals at home. If you wanted to go out to eat, there are plenty of amazing places nearby. It’s also a short drive from Blois (about 12 minutes), which we used as a jumping off point to rent bikes and take a gorgeous ride to one of the castles in the area. Highly recommend!!!!

Geneviève is a very friendly person who has a sense of hospitality. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in her charming little house. With our 12 legs, we enjoyed its large garden with a bucolic charm. A special mention for his animals: dog, cat, chickens, all very sociable. The environment is very quiet . The large enclosed courtyard allows for safe parking of vehicles. A beautiful place to recommend!

This property is perfect for relaxing or exploring the beautiful Loire Valley. The patio area, overlooking the heated pool and surrounding fields with horses, offers a tranquil setting, especially in the evenings when hot air balloons drift across the sky. Amboise, just 20-30 minutes away, is a charming town, ideal for a leisurely lunch.

Perfect! Everything is beautiful, perfectly clean, the interior and exterior are charming, quiet. Don't hesitate: book one or more nights!

This a recently remodeled apartment and very well done overall. Elisabeth was a very friendly host. Having the parking spot right in the courtyard was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have the two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs. The location is very convenient and there is a great restaurant just around the corner. There was a Nespresso machine in the kitchen, but no capsules were provided. But, I anticipated that and brought my own. One BIG NOTE: I am 188 cm tall and really hit my head hard when entering the flat, so be aware that the entry door is VERY low and anyone over 175 will have to bow down to enter. The staircase also had a similar spot at the bottom as did entering the bedroom on the left once upstairs. Other than that, the flat was great and I can highly recommend.

We had a pleasant weekend with our two children in this charming and quiet cottage. The accommodation occupies a house full of history, as we learned from the owners, and is very well located: we were able to reach the most beautiful castles of the Loire in 30 minutes by car max. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals, comfortable beds. The children were able to complete the days of walking with games and races in the large garden, far from the dangers. Well-stocked hypermarkets are 15 minutes away by car, so no problems for shopping either. We thank Julie and Mathieu for their hospitality and of course recommend their cottage!

Zoé and Rémy are charming and warm hosts. Very attentive to visitors, we feel that they are committed to satisfying them as best as possible. We recommend their nice and very comfortable cottage. We will gladly return, if the opportunity arises...

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!
