Ca' Vergì, charming little house in an old village

Charming and cosy little house with an old style flavour. The house has been recently renoveted and it's in the old village of Vezzano Ligure, on the hill overlooking the river Magra, just 2 km from the highway exit. You can easily reach touristic attractions such as Lerici (12km), Tellaro (15 km) , Sarzana (12 km), Portovenere (28km) and the central train station in La Spezia (14 km) where trains to 5 Terre leave. You can also easily reach Tuscany and its beautiful towns: Lucca, Pisa.

Margot's house

The apartment is in the village of Vezzano Ligure (lower). Vezzano is a medieval village, it is pedestrianized and cars must be left in the public parking lot outside the town. The village is quiet, has 2 bars, 2 tobacconists, and 2 grocery stores. There is a pizzeria, where you can eat an excellent pizza, focaccia, farinata and exceptional meat. For those without transportation, it is not optimal. The bus makes few trips. I recommend, if necessary, renting at least one scooter.

A fianco alla casa passa il sentiero 501 che conduce direttamente alle 5 terre attraverso i boschi che riempiono la valle. E' dotato di una grande terrazza (oltre 16 metri quadri) che gode di una magnifica vista panoramica sulla valle e dalla quale si ammirano delle emozionanti albe. Il parcheggio è privato. The beach, center, restaurants, station, and ferries are within walking distance. A unique place to spend mornings drinking coffee and evenings sipping local wine, admiring the sunrise and sunset in the front row!🌅🍷 *If there are more than 2 of you, we recommend the apartment for families! There is little privacy.

This 66sqm apartment is located in the pedestrian area, within the heart of the city centre, close to the typical fruit, vegetable and fish market. The restoration works which were completed at the beginning of July 2018 have brought to light parts of the old stone walls as well as beautiful wooden beams obtained from parts of old ships, which date back to the beginning of the last century.
