Amazing place. Perfect for those who like to be in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees, plants and animals. Everyone at Quinta das Águias is very friendly and the cats at the Quinta are great hosts :) . The house has all the necessary conditions for an optimal stay.

Awesome hotel! Great hospitality. Biked here inland from Ponte de Lima - quite a climb - and arrived at this gem of a hotel. Beautifully designed, with artistic flourishes in every nook and cranny. Wonderful views. Will be back!

What an amazing and beautiful property with such great family history. The location was great, just on the outskirts of the old city center so very very walkable. It had all the amenities we needed for a single night stay and the host was gracious enough to wake up really early in the pouring rain to help us out the gate. The only note we have for those who need to know is that the beds were really really firm, but that was the case for a lot of the places we stayed on our visit to Portugal and Spain, so maybe it's more the norm than the exception. again, such a beautiful place to check out and enjoy!!

Our stay felt like luxury, as we do not usually stay in hotels. Such a treat to have a sumptuous breakfast each day overlooking the hills and river, our room serviced daily, the beautiful pools to relax by, friendly staff to chat with and the option of a delicious dinner. We loved our stay! We had a large room on the first floor with a large comfy bed, good bathroom and balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and hills beyond. Perfect view of the sunset too. There are a few more minor maintenance issues in the room that could do with some attention, however we paid such a fair price that we were happy to overlook these. Recommended ++

Beautiful discovery of Ponte De Lima with a house full of history. Very comfortable house, extra breakfast, Rosario is very friendly and helped us spend a week of happiness in her lovely family home. Lots of local activities - ideal for a vacation with friends and family. Thanks Rosario:-)

The space is amazing! The harmony of the outdoor space with the spacious, comfortable and cozy house is excellent for a family vacation! We thank D. Ana (Cristina's mother) for the sympathy and welcome that made us feel "at home". To Cristina for her readiness to respond to everything we need! We want to come back!

We loved our stay at Cicada village. Diana and her family were wonderful. We arrived much later than initially expected and Diana was there taking care of everything from access to the laundry to arranging breakfast delivery in the morning. She even arranged for the set up of the hot tube which was a wood burning hot tub like experience. Diana’s parents kept the fire going for days and kept an abundance of persimmons from their tree available for us. The apartment was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our time there. Thank you to Diana and family!

Beautiful, very clean and well-maintained accommodation in a wonderful house. Clear and easy communication with the host. Good parking. Old town in about 20-30 minutes within walking distance. Price/performance ratio absolutely in order. Recommended!

First of all i want thank the host. They were amazing. Very helpful and cooperative. Secondly, I would say that this is the best stay at this location. Best view ever!! Worth every penny. Vanessa’s place offers an experience not be missed and we wish we had stayed longer. Highlights included eating dinner (which we ordered and had delivered) in the vineyard as the sun was setting, relaxing by the pool, soaking in the jacuzzi, and enjoying the picture perfect surroundings!

Carlos' house is set in heights in the middle of a green, soothing environment with a magnificent view. The house is large and equipped with everything you need. We even tried the pizza oven experience! We were able to easily radiate around the house towards the ocean, Porto, local waterfalls, typical villages... A great vacation spot!
