Holiday rentals with a kayak in Victoria County

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

Lovely condo. Had everything. Conveniently located. Beautiful view. Several outdoor seating areas which we loved. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

The Pine and the Cedar were amazing cottages to stay at with a group looking to relax!! The property and cottages are just as described and both very beautiful! The property was amazingly kept and very peaceful! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great two night stay with Cora! ⭐️ She was very lovely and welcoming, Accommodating and kind! We would definitely recommend staying at any of her listings. The surroundings were peaceful and the ocean was calming and filled with beautiful crabs and sea shells. 🐚 🦀 The Rv was in perfect condition, clean and well stocked with essentials. We had a restful two nights. 💜 Thank you very much 🙏

Place was very clean, perfect vacation cottage on beautiful lake and the sauna was perfect for relaxing.

Wonderful accommodation in a peaceful beautiful setting. Lots of space for sleeping and playing games and chatting. Great kitchen. We were very happy and enjoyed our weekend immensely. There are 2 neighbours however they are separated by large property lots and we saw no one.

3rd stay at Sandy’s beautiful property. Host is just a breeze to deal with and very responsive. Property is one of a kind and offers peace and relaxation. Thank you Sandy for allowing me the opportunity once again to stay at your home away from home. Cheers, Bre

Tara and Lee were wonderful hosts! The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and evenings around the fire pit watching the spectacular sunsets.

We had a great time! The place is so cute and feels very private :) The hosts left a booklet with a ton of great suggestions for local trails etc. Would totally stay here again!

Capers Landing was a wonderful gem we discovered during our visit to Nova Scotia. Nikki has put a great deal of thought and planning into making the home comfortable and delightfully decorated. Her attention to detail really shows. A high priority for us is how kitchens are equipped. This kitchen was both well equipped, modern and had stunning views of the waterfront. The Internet was very fast. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms had a luxury appointments. Our only wish is we had planned a longer stay. It is clear why this home gets so booked up. Everything at the cottage was fantastic; we felt right at home. There were eight of us, and the house had enough space for us all and enough bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the appliances that you need. It was a great stay, and I recommend it to anyone

A great, peaceful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Very private. Plenty of parking. Firepit and kayaks are a great touch. Worth the trip off the main highway to stay here.

We have recently completed a lovely, lovely stay at Alix’s riverside home on Grand Mira. We were a traveling foursome — and found the place and its environs rejuvenating. The cottage has been in Alix’s family for more than one generation — and it shows, somehow, in the care, detail, creativity and thoughtfulness that she has put into the property. There are two outdoor grills, a covered shore-side deck, onsite parking — and a proper sauna, a few paces off the main deck, just out the back door. The kitchen is well-stocked, with an array of spices and olive oil. We felt graciously hosted throughout our stay. The location is good, too — though a bit far, we discovered, from entrance to the Cabot Trail. It is not far from Sydney. There is gas and a grocery store but a few minutes away. And it is right on the lovely Mira. But the Cabot Trail is nearly an hour away — too far, probably, to take the entire loop and return to the cottage in the same day. The Mira, however, is great!

Such a magical place to stay! Literally right on the beach on Bra D’ors lake. They’re are four cabins side by side but the stay still felt private and secluded. They even have paddle boards and kayaks to use free of charge! The owners stay on site all summer so they were readily available if I needed anything. Definitely a must stay if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.
