Katherine and Steven were excellent hosts. We had to reach out only once during the stay and they were extremely responsive and helpful. The location is beautiful and our family took full use of their hot tub, propane fireplace, open concept home and beautiful views. Catan was available to play and our kids spent hours chilling out and playing the game together. The only thing I would have wanted to know beforehand is that the walk back to the house from the river required an up-hill walk, which something not everyone in my family were able to do due to health/mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect! 2 minute drive from our whale watching excursion. The cottage was clean, comfy and cozy. The hot tub was also very well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. Great place to have a nice relaxing stay.

I love this cute cottage. It was such a lovely location, very private but close to so many hikes. She also had a book with everything you need to know about the area (resturants, hikes, activities etc). So helpful for non locals. I highly recommend staying here and will stay here again myself. She also responded to messages right away which was a plus. Thanks again for a great place to stay.

No shortage of soulful, talented folk on the Cabot Trail - you’re sure to be inspired.

Quiet, clean and cozy. Cheticamp is stretched along a seashore highway, but Salt House is far enough off the road that we heard no traffic noise. Yet we easily walked to the Doryman Pub for live traditional music and to a restaurant. Harper was helpful with local suggestions

We had a wonderful family vacation at Macloud Cove. My niece and nephews enjoyed playing in the water. I enjoyed drinking tea on the deck. Everyone enjoyed how close it was to the Cabot Trail and Sydney. It was lovely. Highly recommend it.

A very relaxing homey place and a lovely porch with view of the sunset over the mountain. Lovely short walk to the bridge and friendly folk who passed by. Had everything we needed and more. The quality of the cutlery and dishes and the amount and variety of the "Basics" available was impressive.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. It is such a perfect place that has everything you need and more. A short walk to the beach, and close to all restaurants and to the national park. It is dog friendly which is always a bonus! Thank you for a wonderful week.

This is our third time visiting these cabins. They are fantastic each and every time we come. Our visit was in the winter this time and during a storm. The owner was very communicative with us, and the drive was plowed early so access was decent. There was a shovel provided that we used frequently. The heat pump kept the place very toasty. however I don't believe there is much insulation underneath the cabins, so if you are travelling in the winter, bring slippers or else you'll have very cold feet!

Janet's place was simply wonderful. If you are lucky enough to go there make sure you do the trail that leads you to the train line and all the way to the beach. Simply magical... Thank you Janet :-)

This was our second week staying at Trina’s and we love staying there for work and it is a beautiful place to watch the sunset every night for sure!!

We had a great time! The place is so cute and feels very private :) The hosts left a booklet with a ton of great suggestions for local trails etc. Would totally stay here again!

Capers Landing was a wonderful gem we discovered during our visit to Nova Scotia. Nikki has put a great deal of thought and planning into making the home comfortable and delightfully decorated. Her attention to detail really shows. A high priority for us is how kitchens are equipped. This kitchen was both well equipped, modern and had stunning views of the waterfront. The Internet was very fast. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms had a luxury appointments. Our only wish is we had planned a longer stay. It is clear why this home gets so booked up. Unfortunately the Piping Plover had an unrepairable (in time) issue arise the day before we arrived, so this is a review of Alison & the hosts of the associated Markland resort next door, rather than the place itself. Alison and the Markland staff arranged an emergency backup for us, putting us up in cabins at the Markland and generously providing a complimentary dinner both nights for our party of five. The cabins were perfectly sufficient! Quiet and peaceful, clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. And the food (which also included a free continental breakfast) was fantastic. We greatly appreciated the generosity and care of Alison and the staff, who made a special point to look out for us.

Another great stay at the Adonai chalet. The snowmobile trails are accessible, and you can sled directly from camp. The chalet was a full house with five adults. Lots of parking perfect for anybody coming with multiple trailers. Chris and his wife are great hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, and this is why it’s one of our favourite winter destinations.

This is easily one of the nicest places my family has stayed. Beautiful surroundings and just an amazing location and view. Super close to town and CBHNP. Eric and Von were extremely responsive and helpful as well. Also they had literally everything you might need in the house from kitchen items and seasonings and staples to games, books, sporting and outdoor equipment. Would highly recommend!!!

Jillian was an excellent host - very helpful and great with communication. The house is close to town and overlooks the water with outstanding views. Lovely special home and spot. You will love your stay here!

Stop and book now, the view is GORGEOUS, BREATHTAKING, you almost don’t want to leave it’s so beautiful. This place is way bigger than you think as portrayed in the pictures. Very Very clean, cozy and comfy beds. Looks as shown but more roomier and has that modern cottage feel. All is there kitchen needs, and nice amenities as soap and shampoo. Lynette is a fabulous communicator and if something were out of sorts she’d be on it but we had a perfect stay. Best place to relax, enjoy, and explore Cape Breton. This place deserves a 5 million star review, highly recommend!!!
