Beyond the cottage itself, the surroundings were just as captivating. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, the location offered a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. It was an ideal base for exploring Lille, yet it always felt like a peaceful haven to return to at the end of the day. In every way, this cottage exceeded our expectations. It’s a rare gem💕

David's accommodation is absolutely fantastic. It is even bigger than it appears in the photos. We didn't miss anything and we had a great time as a family! David is also an incredibly nice and uncomplicated host who responds quickly and is always helpful and flexible. We can absolutely recommend David and the accommodation.

We had a very nice stay at Isabelle's house. The contact with co-host Rolande went well. Sometimes it was a bit difficult, because we don't speak a common language. Beautiful house with four bedrooms and bathrooms, of which 3 bathrooms are ensuite. Nice swimming pool in a large garden that could be used for a fee. Flexible and thoughtful hosts, very nice! The only thing to take into account (especially with children) are the many nettles in the grass. Recommended!

Very pleasant stay, punctuated by our son's wedding. The house is welcoming, very bright, the bedding very comfortable and being able to park several vehicles was very appreciated. the entire layout contributes to the comfort of the stay. this very modern house and its huge and super maintained park are very positive points i highly recommend it.

Very nice house, clean, quiet, spacious. The terrace is lovely. We had a pleasant stay. Recommended! Be careful, however, the cleaning is to be done at the end of the stay.

An amazing night offered to my husband for his birthday. Having already done several hot tubs, this one is exceptional, and has the little something extra. The pole-dance bar in the bedroom and the centerpiece make the place special. The cleanliness is flawless and the spa is cozy. We will probably test the second hot tub in preparation!

great place, close to Lille transport (tram / metro)

This is the second time we have come to the apartment, Tiphaine, because we had discovered a very beautiful, spacious and very pleasant accommodation, very well equipped and very clean. The decor is great and the location is ideal and quiet for visiting Lille and its region. A parking space is a more appreciable plus. Tiphaine is a very responsive host and her accommodation will delight you.

Apartment in a great location for walking tours. Numerous restaurants nearby + parking. Close to metro. Anne very proactive and friendly. Good bottle of beer offered at check-in.

Spacious and pleasant home. We stayed with 4 people and that was fine to do. Communication with Sidi went smoothly. He is very responsive and friendly. House is a 30-minute walk from the old town but the metro is around the corner. Recommended.

We were a group of young adults and more senior adults. The house , garden and pool were fantastic for all the group. Loads of space and seating so you could easily find a quiet spot, especially in the garden. The chickens were very friendly and even Guizmo the cat seemed to get friendlier as the week went on. House was very clean when we arrived and very accessible for my wife who has limited mobility. Easy access to the patio, pool and garden was a big bonus. The surrounding area is very flat and good for cycle rides especially along the canal to Tournai which is a lovely small town. The beach at Den Haan is within an hour and well worth a visit with a huge beach, friendly sea and lots of cafes and bars. Ypres is also well worth a visit with the In Flanders Field museum a must for anyone who wants to know more about WW1. The war cemeteries were also very interesting and moving. We had a couple of early minor problems but Jocelyn responded very quickly. I would recommend for families.

We once again had a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s place and were able to stay for longer this time. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the beautiful house, garden & pool but we spent some time in Lille which was wonderful. Recommend the Cita Parc for those with small children. A fabulous stay in a truly luxurious home.

The house is very welcoming, functional, and very pleasant. Its location is ideal in a quiet area, close to golf (We were there for a competition) but also close to Lille. We were very well hosted, the hosts are available and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Calm and soothing house. Ideal for relaxing with others, close to Lille and quickly accessible by bus from downtown. Hosts are very kind and flexible on departure and arrival times

The house is beautiful in lovely peaceful surroundings. The pool was lovely and we had everything we needed. Elena was responsive and came and met us when we arrived to show us around the house and tell us how everything worked. The listing was informative and we were able to follow the instructions to find the house without any problems, the area is very quiet but there are shops and tram station very close by.

Thanks to Bérenice and her family for this house which is a real haven of peace. We had a great time there, enjoying the very large garden. We recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Lille region with family or friends!!
