We had a wonderful 1-Month stay in Meerkerk! Ayelt and Heidi are very kind, responsive and happy to help with anything you might need during your stay. The loft is located in a beautiful and peaceful environment. There are chickens on the property and we absolutely fell in love with Gerritje the cat. Inside the loft you will find all essentials needed for a long-term stay, including various cooking supplies and a washing machine. One thing to note: there's no TV. But there's plenty to do in the neighborhood and lots of books available to read :) Thank you for hosting us, we had a wonderful stay!

We loved our long weekend in Nieuwland. This is a tiny village so very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive from the motorway. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 3 people. Everything worked great- lovely kitchen, powerful shower and a tv with a guest Netflix account. We were disappointed we didn't get a chance to sit outside in the courtyard due to the rain. We would happily return and would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet away from town. One of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in (have stayed in over 100). The place is so nice, the facilities are great, it’s super peaceful and relaxing. You have all the animals right outside your front door and loads of nature to enjoy. Karin and Arno are really friendly, responsive and happy to help with anything. We’d love to come back and stay, it’s such a lovely place.

We had a very nice and quiet time. Even without a car, you can get there from Utrecht in half an hour by bus. The lake was particularly beautiful nearby. The only difficult one (for non-drivers) is the supermarket situation. In Schoonrewoerd there is a very small one with little choice. But everything was good in the place. Clear and clean
