Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

Cottage near Santa Claus Village

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Villa orohat offers you a place to relax and enjoy about silence and nature in local village Nivankylä. you can enjoy about fire place and make food in well equipped kitchen. Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. It is easy to relax in this unique holiday destination. Vikajärvi is a small village north of the Arctic Circle, offering peace and quiet in nature. You can watch the Northern Lights in peace from your own large yard - the nearest neighbor is 100 m away. There are beautiful hiking trails, a small convenience store, a cafe and a gas station nearby. Almost all activities are along the road between the cottage and the city of Rovaniemi, and the trip is conveniently by bus or taxi.

Close to downtown, comfortable, cozy studio. Downtown is 1.2km away. Santa Claus Village is 9km away. The airport is 9km away. Bus stop next to the house. Shop 200 meters away. The equipment is great for longer stays. The beds can be combined or separately, let us know what you want. If you want, it's possible to put a 70cm wide air mattress in addition to the beds. Car spot is available. It costs €5 per stay. A stay that's perfect for a city break or work trip.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.
