Høgestølen is located about 25 min. from Hemsedal center (alpine center), 15 min. to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country trails. The cottage is heated with electricity and firewood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer .The cottage is steep to the east! Car way to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

The house has its own garden with outdoor furniture. We wash ourselves and make sure everything is clean. Bed linens come from laundry The house is small and charming with a relaxing atmosphere. Quiet area where it is nice to walk on the road or along the river. Nice marked trails up the mountain sides are and in the vicinity. Short distance to Flåm.

Idyllic annex in scenic surroundings, with stunning views of Hallingdal. The annex is located by itself on the outskirts of farm. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Distance to Solseter with marked trails is 1 km. Golsfjellet is a mile away. The cabin consists of kitchen with wood stove +2 hot plates, bathroom with shower cubicle and earth toilet, loft and living room with double sofa bed. Heated with wood and electricity. It is possible to rent bed linen for 75 kr per set. Private parking outside the cabin.

We live in one of the houses and also rent out a cabin and the upstairs apartment on AIRBNB. ("Rofshus2" and "Lita cabin in sunny farmhouse") Patio with table, chairs and barbecue. Great view of Totak and the mountains. 5 min to drive to the city centre with shops and driven cross country trails. 10 min to the ski centers. Great WIFI. Great summer hiking opportunities. Charge your batteries at this unique and quiet place to stay in beautiful Kviteseid. 🤗 About 10 minutes from Brunkeberg. It's great if you're going from west to east or opposite.👍 The stabbur is 18 square meters and consists of two rooms . Kitchen/living room and bedroom . There is a cozy old-fashioned outhouse here. Partial electricity. No running water, but there is water on the wall of the neighboring house. (10 meters away) New this year is :shower and laundry room in the basement of the white house 👍

Norwegian country bliss by the lake

Small cabin by the lake. Perfect for a getaway from the modern world. Great for relaxing, hiking, fishing, mushrooms and berry picking and swimming. Guests can use the canoe at own risk. There are sheep grazing in the fields and a very special flower meadow. There is a outside seating area with a simple bbq. New bathroom with shower and toilet in the barn. Sauna can be rented for additional cost. Ps. there is no running water in the cabin, this is available few meters away, in the barn.

Romance in Wonderland

Come and stay in an old traditionally farmhouse for employees at a Norwegian farm in Noresund, 100 km and approximately 90 minutes drive from the city-center of Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 10 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice.

Nesbyen - Cozy cabin by the Hallingdalselva river

Cabin for up to 4 guests with Hallingdalselva as the closest neighbour. Nice outdoor area and rowboat and kayaks for free use in summer. Guests can bring bed linen and towels themselves, and clean the cabin before departure. Or final cleaning can be arranged and left to us at an additional cost NOK 600,- and bed linen/towels are rented NOK 125,- per person. The cabin is newly renovated in the winter of 23/24, with, among other things, a new bathroom and kitchen with dishwasher.
