The house was recently refurbished and enlarged with a modern and design construction enjoying the view and surroundings . You can see it from the top of the Serra de Sintra, to Guincho to Cabo Espichel. A stone's throw from the pedestrian paths of the Serra de Sintra and its monuments and next to good restaurants , cafes with good atmosphere , the small village has a supermarket and pharmacy for your tranquility. Guests have at their disposal a house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, totally private and access to a large garden with an infinite pool where they can enjoy the wonderful view. I live on the property and am available to share stories and information about the region. I love cycling and know the Serra like the back of my hand. I can share the secrets of the mountains and advise the best restaurants in the region. Malveira da Serra, picturesque village next to Cascais and Lisbon (20 min), with hiking trails in Serra de Sintra and its monuments. Guincho Beach and its wild dunes with their unique beauty are a paradise for surfing/kite-surfing/windsurfing. I advise you to use your own car.

Our stay with José was completely successful! The place was beautiful and the view of the horse meadow was simply fantastic. We especially liked the lovingly arranged breakfast basket in the morning – a great touch! Helping with the feeding of the animals was also a real highlight, especially for nature lovers. The possibility of taking small hikes over horse and cow meadows rounded off our stay perfectly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back when we are in the area!

Rosaria is an adorable, recently renovated place in the montains near Leiria, surrounded by the nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The property is pet-friendly and exactly as described. Steve and Sarah are amazing hosts, and they made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t be happier for choosing their place to spend a few days in the countryside. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city.

We spent the weekend with the family and the house was perfect! We loved it 😊 From the comfort of the outdoor space, to all the details of the house's decoration. The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!
