Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Andre was a fantastic host. There was a very generous welcome basket, including wine, waiting for us on the kitchen table. He responded quickly to our inquiries and provided a very helpful list of local attractions and restaurants. The house was well equipped, very clean and perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel. We would definitely recommend this house and Andre as a host.

Our stay at the property was amazing - the house is even more beautiful in person. It had all the necessary facilities and the host was extremely helpful, answered our questions very quickly and very flexible all throughout our stay. If you want peace and solitude with a spectacular view after a busy day this is the place. The house sits on the hillside above a garden of banana and avocado trees. The kitchen is small but efficient and open to a spacious interior with a dining table for up to 8 and a comfortable sitting area all with views of the valley and the ocean. The house also had two full baths, one ensuite! All of our queries about appliance operation were promptly responded to by our great hosts. It was a lovely place to stay on a lovely island!

We had a wonderful stay in downtown Ponta Delgada! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — everything we needed was within walking distance. What really made the experience special was the host: incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Communication was easy and fast, and they made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone visiting São Miguel!

Absolutely breathtaking view of the coast. Lovely welcome basket with some local goodies and within walking distance of a nice little restaurant! Parking is limited and streets are tight so be prepared if bringing a car, there is a free lot right across the street. Small tourist tax will be charged that isn’t mentioned in the listing but overall a great place to stay! Thank you Fatima for sharing your home with us!

This location was perfect as a home base for our trip to Sao Miguel. We had rented a car and any part of the island was less than an hour drive away. This made it very easy for us to get out hiking, eat at one of the various delicious restaurants across the island, explore one of the many beautiful beaches and then return home and still be within walking distance of Praia de Agua d’Alto if we wanted to keep going. If it’s a rainy day, you’re nearby Furnas and could easily enjoy some time in the thermal baths. Highly recommend booking if this great location is available for even a portion of your stay in the Açores!

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly a piece of heaven on earth. It was peaceful, beautiful, central and had everything we could have wanted for a perfect getaway. The property was stunning, but what made it even more special was Jose’s incredible hospitality. He gave us a full tour of the premises, sharing details about the fruit trees and how to harvest fresh fruit and eggs daily. He also brought us breakfast foods and helped us with rental car issues and recommendations for local spots. Jose’s kindness and genuine warmth made our stay unforgettable. It’s rare to meet someone so genuine and warm, and we feel lucky to have crossed paths with him. We also adored the cat living on the property—so sweet, adorable, and friendly! He added extra charm to our stay. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming getaway in the Azores!

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

The entire experience was wonderful. We were able to check in early, which was wonderful because our flight arrived at 6:30 AM. The space was absolutely spotless, smelled great and had everything we could possibly need. It is a beautiful space with little clutter and the patio made it even better. Nuno was VERY responsive and had already sent us information about our stay, including local recommendations. Nuno and Sandra thought of everything to make the space homey. We would give out stay 10 stars, amazing!

We really enjoyed staying at Isabel’s place. It was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed sitting outside and in the cozy living room. The location was ideal for our daily road trips on this beautiful island. Isabel was very quick to respond to any question we had. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, and although the apartment is located a bit outside the Ponta Delgada city center, it’s a peaceful area with enough parking nearby. We had a car, which we’d recommend, but also walked into town along the scenic coastline-it takes about 30 minutes. All in all, a great base for exploring the island!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it

The house was very well equipped, clean and according to the photographs. Check in is self check in which makes it easy in terms of arrival hours. Very good location.
