Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

Vald'arêgos Rural Tourism - Casa Cortiço

CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.
