We had a great vacation a group of 10 people in the first week of August. The house is more spacious than what is shown in the photos, each room has its own bathroom which made our stay very comfortable for such a large group. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped and is connected to the garden so we made practically life there. The little ones really enjoyed what we called our Galicia vacation “Pazo.” We were caught by a heat wave but in the house we noticed little, being a stone it was a very good temperature inside. The location of the house is quite good to get to know several areas of both the low rivers and the high rivers, you have to travel for about 50 minutes but it is something we already had because we knew the exact location. We did many excursions and some were left to not bring them booked. Communication with Cristina was very good from the time of booking and provided us with a lot of information and routes to be able to do during our stay. Also noteworthy is the kindness of the neighbors of the surrounding houses. We got a municipal work because they started installing water pipes on the street and informed us so we could get the cars out of the house and be able to park them on a nearby estate. Overall the value for money was good and our stay was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice little gem in Galicia, if you want a local stay definitely book Begoña’s place ! It’s a renovated traditional house with a beautiful garden and a nearby quiet stunning beach, close to restaurants and sightseeing options. Preferable to get by car. Bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. Place is pristine clean and extremely comfortable. There is an additional part of the house and there might be people staying next to you, but sonorisation is very good and we didn’t hear any noise! Begoña gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and all. Don’t hesitate to book her place for a memorable local experience !

To start by saying that the house is located within the enclosure of a pazo, a unique and exceptional environment, surrounded by nature, beautiful gardens, swimming pool and a carballeira, but at the same time, very close to the village, to which you can walk and where there are the essential services. The house is living-kitchen-dormitorio in the same space. It is ideal for couples. Very nice and well decorated, with the basics to spend a great few days, breakfast or prepare a quick dinner. Super comfortable and relaxing. Communication with Emilio, excellent. She was always attentive to anything we need. The ease and flexibility for check-in and check-out is greatly appreciated. Lastly the area...if you like nature do not hesitate. You can also visit the Monastery that you can walk to. We also visit some mmoa and Ciadella, very close by. All in all, exceptional accommodation in a wonderful environment.

Javier’s home was lovely. It’s a tastefully renovated old fisherman’s home, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Additionally, the art on the walls are painted by Javier’s mother and they are beautiful. Because Javier was out of town, his parents stepped in to welcome us and to make sure we got acclimated to Porto do Son. Thank you for the warm hospitality and we hope to return one day. Highly recommend.

The apartment is really nice, the pool and the huge balcony and garden were a highlight, so we were actually only inside to sleep. The location is beautiful, because you have sun in the morning and evening and shade at noon. Only for noise-sensitive people, we would like to point out that the street above is very busy and you can hear it until late in the evening. There are also several dogs that bark a lot at night. It didn't bother us, but we closed the windows at night, even though the air was so nice to sleep in. However, there is an air conditioning. The pool was cleaned regularly and the facility was also very well maintained. There was the possibility of getting additional towels, bed linen and cleaning, a super service (for a stay of one week.) We got great excursion and restaurant tips, which is very helpful because the area is fortunately still very authentic and not very touristy. For us, definitely 👍
